CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE.
"NO. I'M-I'M not just letting you leave them here," the Stilinski boy had commented, his voice still trembling while he stayed sat on the floor. Peter now standing up, wiping off the blood on his lips. Barley any time had passed since Peter had bit both girls, and they still laid unconscious. Stiles believing they may both be out for a while.
"You don't have a choice, Stiles. You're coming with me."
This seemed to be another breaking point for Stiles as he sudden began yelling. It was the way he felt so powerless as he watched Peter bite into both Lydia and Evee. Watching as Evee cried from the fear that he would hurt her. Seeing her pleading to let him go...everything,"Just kill me! Look, I don't care anymore."
Using his grown-wolf nails to stand him up from where he sat, Stiles took heavy breaths while Peter watched the boy, shockingly letting him go a moment later,"Call you friend. Tell Jackson where Lydia is, that's all you get."
"But, Evee. He's gonna find her too...right? He'll be able to save her," Stiles asked, multitasking as he scurried to grab his phone from his pocket and search for Jackson's number. All Peter did was smirk, knowing more than he wanted to tell the boy.
When he had finally got ahold of Jackson, informing him about Lydia, there was a lot of confusion over Jackson's line. But with time on the line, he finally got Jackson to go find Lydia─Stiles sighing as soon as he moved the phone away from his ear. He had made a short mention that Evee was unconscious alongside Lydia, but the way Peter smiled at Stiles made him believe something else would go on with her because of the bite. He looked at the two girls then slowly walked away from them saying a short apology, as well, even if he didn't have a choice or they couldn't hear him.
Evee's mind hadn't been blank when she went unconscious, shockingly. Her mind raced with images of what had happened moments before: Peter talking and then him biting her. With her eyes still shut she then began seeing the scene play before her...his actual words being said to her once more.
"Aw...don't cry."
"I thought you'd be a lot more scary...deadly."
"you should've been so dangerous at your age...which means...Gemma has different plans for you. I'll let you in a little secret: she's making you vulnerable so she can kill you."
"Ever notice how she does long hours? Ever wonder what's she's actually doing?"
"you'll also thank me one day for this."
"For making you powerful."
Those four words lingered on her mind a moment longer, the way he said those words began to grow distorted, as it repeated. Then there was the image of all three figures, at that moment. Peter smirking with blood dripping his lips and a tight grasp on the girl. Lydia's smile that had faded away when she went unconscious, previously searching for a guy that seemed to care for her barely. And Stiles...who had pleaded and pleaded for Peter to let her go but was purely powerless as he watched the girls tears stop forming and her almost lifeless body hit the floor, next to Lydia; the phone that laid on one of her pockets in the dresses falling out as some blood spilled over it. Alongside a message the girl couldn't see, from Boyd.
