CHAPTER SIXTEEN.
SCHOOL THE NEXT day didn't seem to go differently─even after the mountain lion had been spotted.Aside from the many problems arising,the one that seemed to be the biggest was the new 'avoiding Allison' situation...that was not going well. While Scott roamed the halls trying to avoid anyone that really caused him issues, as well as Allison, Stiles sat in class─his eyes practically lighting up at the sight of the Sharp girl taking a seat across from him.
"So, how was parent conference night," Stiles immediately asked, snapping his head over to the seat across from him where the girl seemed to be sitting, as the brunette took her seat with a groan at how early it had been.
Evee raised her eyebrows before sarcastically stating,"Amazing! The Avengers came in and told everyone that I was Tony Stark's daughter," The Sharp girls voice raised slightly higher as she said this and Stiles simply fakes laugh at the sight of sarcasm drenched in her words.
"I'm actually really insulted you got to say the first sarcastic statement in our conversation, today," Stiles admitted spinning his attention back to his desk for a short second before looking back to Evee that was very amused,"Very insulted!"
"Got it, bro."
Those three words got Stiles' smile to fade away and switch to widened up eyes and almost got him to face palm himself for getting himself in a situation where Evee called him 'bro'. Although it was just one word, it was still a word that Stiles didn't exactly want to be called by Evee Sharp. Before Stiles could really say anything about the word or ignore it in general ( he still wasn't sure what he was going to say or do next ), Scott's presence immediately got the Stilinski boy's face to fall to an irritated expression. Evee immediately caught onto Stiles' irritated expression, but decided not to comment on it as she waited to watch whatever was going to go down with Scott and Stiles next.
Scott awkwardly took his seat behind Stiles who stared completely away from the McCall boy─not wanting anything to do with him after last night. Scott looked over to Evee for a bit of help before he would comment anything, but the girl simply scratched the back of her head; showing she just wanted to hear in and not be involved. Scott sighs at this as he looks back to the Stilinski boy,"Still not talking to me," when Stiles remained silent Scott looked down on his desk with another sigh of disappointment for not getting through to his best friend.
Evee had finally had enough of waiting and having to observe Scott so disappointed. The Sharp girl cleared her throat as she turned her body over to the two desks across from her, holding Scott and a very irritated Stiles,"I think Scott just wants to know if your dad's good, Stiles."
The Stilinski boy glances over to Evee but still remained persistent in his silence. When Scott spotted that Stiles at least acknowledged Evee, he continued trying to talk to Stiles,"I mean─it's just a bruise, right? Some soft tissue damage? Nothing that big...," Stiles still listened into the conversation while remaining hushed,"You know I feel really bad about it, right," Scott's question still didn't get through to Stiles so the McCall boy brought up a new topic he knew Stiles would feel the need to reply to,"Okay...what if I told you that I'm trying to figure this whole thing out, and─that I went to Derek for help."
