Chapter Fourteen | A Failed Attempt

(NAME) FELT bad. These past few days after her return to Ignis, she felt that she forgot something.

It was the next morning, (Name) woke up, she remembered the events from last night and felt relieved that her plan work. Now that she got some things off her mind, she was able to focus on the coup and some other things.

"Good morning, Your Majesty." Uraraka chirped as she got inside.

Slowly, (Name) turned her head to the brunette.

"Uraraka..." She called.

The servant tilted her head. (Name) spoke once again.

"I forgot about (Dog's Name)."

So, after she bathed and dressed, (Name) rushed outside and went around the palace to look for the pomeranian.

Planning the coup had kept her busy and she forgot about her pet. The pomeranian didn't cross her mind. Now she felt bad.

It doesn't matter that the dog was from Bakugou and that the pomeranian sort of look like him, (Name) love her pet.

(Name) searched around the palace, and even asked some of the nobles around. One noble told her that they saw the pomeranian in a certain corridor. (Name) went there and she realized that she never went to this part of the palace.

Suddenly, (Name) heard small footsteps. She look ahead and see the pomeranian at the end of the corridor.

A big smile lit her face.

"Here boy!"

(Dog's Name) turned to look at (Name). The woman started to walk towards the dog, he recognized her and started to run towards her while barking.

When (Name) felt that she's close to her pet, she was immediately snatched of the moment because another person appeared and immediately picked up (Dog's Name).

(Name) look up to see that it's Lady Camie.

"Your Majesty." She curtsied, the dog wrapped in her arms.

It look like it suddenly forgot about (Name) and gave all his attention to Lady Camie.

"Lady Camie," (Name) acknowledged, "I see that you took care of my pet."

The fawn haired lady shifted her eyes to the fluffy creature. "Oh yes. The time you went home, I found him all alone and abandoned, I couldn't leave him there so I took him."

"That's very nice of you, Lady Camie. It was terrible of me to suddenly forget about him." (Name) said. "I was so worried that he might not have been taken care of, but now I feel relieved to see that you took him. How will I be able to pay you?"

"Oh no, don't worry about that Your Majesty."

"Are you absolutely sure?"

"Of course."

"Thank you so, so much." (Name) smiled. "Can I have him back now?"

Suddenly, the corner of Lady Camie's lips fell. "I'm afraid he's not yours anymore, Your Majesty."

(Name) frowned and furrowed her brow. "...Why not?"

"Well... you did abandoned him." Lady Camie said, petting (Dog's Name). "Then, I found him. I asked if I could have him and I was given the permission. He's my pet now."

"Who gave you the permission?"

"His Majesty, of course." Lady Camie smirked. "I heard this little guy right here originally came from him, so when I asked him if I could have this precious guy, he said I could do whatever I want. So I took him as my own."
