Wow, four parts.

Suga ran off and Daichi ran after him. Tanaka glared in their direction, then turned around to walk away. Asahi thought he heard some obscene muttering under his breath.

But now, at least, he knew what to do.

On the way home that afternoon, Asahi "happened to meet" Nishinoya.

"Hey," he said.

"Hey." The other wouldn't meet his eye.

"Suga feels really bad, you know."

"I don't care."

"Are you sure about this?"

"Yeah."

"Don't tell anyone about how stressed you are. It'll worry them."

"Okay. Thank you, Sensei."

"And one more thing?"

"Yeah?"

"Here's an application form in case you change your mind."

"Thank you."

"You do care. You just don't want to show it."

"You're lying."

"No. You're lying."

"I'm not-"

"You're lying and you know it!"

Nishinoya fell silent, stunned by his gentle friend's outburst.

"Please, Nishi-Yuu. Come back."

"And why should I?!"

Now it was Asahi's turn to flinch. He tried to make his voice as soft and convincing as possible.

"Because I need you."

And he walked away.

"Wait!"

He turned around.

"I'll do it!"

"You-you will?"

"Fine! I'll do it, I'll rejoin, just don't leave."

"Okay."

It's funny that the roles reversed.

"But you have one more thing you need to fix."

"Yeah. I know."

I think one more part and we'll wrap this sucker up.
