Falling for you

Whenever he was feeling a particularly strong emotion, he didn't fully feel it.

Well, that wasn't a great way of explaining it. He still felt it, just...differently. He felt it, almost as if from a third person view. But not today.

Today was...different...

Nishinoya had worked as a florist for a few years after finishing college. He was hoping to pay off his debt to finally get a job in a field that wasn't...well, flowers. Not saying he didn't love his job, but he had gotten a degree for a reason, and that was to pursue his true passion.

Music.

He lived for music, almost as much as he longed to know the man that came into the shop he worked at, every day. He liked seeing him. The man was pretty, with a tall stature and a strong build. He wore glasses and had a little scruff on his chin that never fully grew out, by the looks of it. He usually wore collared shirts with v-neck sweaters on top, but he looked too old to be in school, unless he was talking extra classes after college.

One day, the man came in, and he was crying. At first, Nishinoya hadn't questioned it. He wouldn't want a stranger barging into his personal life. But the crying persisted, and he decided that he should at least make sure the man was okay. So, after asking, he ended up learning that the man needed flowers for a funeral. He wouldn't say who it was for. Not knowing what else to do, Noya put his arms around the man awkwardly. After a few minutes, he pulled away, and the man smiled at him.

"Thank you."

"No problem. Nishinoya Yuu, by the way."

"Asahi Azumane."
