Amity P.O.V.

I was sitting on the couch while Luz curled up beside me.She was staring at her phone terrified. Eric kept calling her even when she declined. He seemed determined to talk to her. Luz threw her phone in protest to the irritating ring.

"Just make it stop!"  Luz covered her ears to silence everything around her.

"Hey I know I don't have any experience with this kind of thing, but could it really be so bad if you just talk to him?" I don't even know what I'm saying. I just want silence Luz's pain.

"How would that be better?!"

"I-I don't know...."

"I don't really know either. I thought he was killed in jail..."

"Cause of his offenses?"

"Yeah...." Luz looked so scared more than she ever did on the boiling isles. Seeing how much Eric is effecting Luz even when he's not here only angered me. Just as Luz turned to look at me the doorbell rang. "Amity hide."

"What?"

"Just listen to me please! A-and don't come out no matter what happens okay?"

"Luz..." I couldn't stop her decision before she went over to the door. Looking at me as she slowly turned the handle. My only reaction was to hide like Luz said, but where was the problem. I could only think of casting an invisibility spell as the door opened.

"H-hey Eric..."

"Ah so you do remember your manners. Not enough of them I see..."

"What....?"

"Don't play coy with me! I know you're going out with girls again!" Eric slapped Luz causing her to fall.

"I'm sorry I-I'll be better."

"Where's Camilia?"

"Mom's at work she won't be home for a while...."

"So we have time to correct you don't we?"

"E-Eric do we have to?" Luz stood up as quickly as she could.

"How else will you learn?! There's no other way!"

"Just accept who I am! I'm not going to change and people like that about me!" Luz had used similar words to when I was comforting her. Seeing her stand up to her dad with my statement made me feel happy in a dumb kind of way.

"You foolish little girl...." Eric grabbed Luz's jaw bringing her closer to him. "Don't you love the thrill of being with a man?"

"I s-suppose so...."

"Or maybe you need to be reminded" Eric forced Luz into kissing him. It's so painful to watch Luz doing things like this. With her father no less!

"No." I couldn't stand by any longer. Luz doesn't need to suffer like this. No one does.

"Who said that?" Eric let go of Luz and looked around. Luz was searching for me as well. She's terrified, and doesn't know what to do.

"Doesn't matter, what does is that you have no right to do this."

"You don't sound like somebody who'd involve themselves with this situation sweetie."

"You don't know who I am Eric"

"I see. Luz care to enlighten me on your girlfriend~?"

"D-dad..."

"I told you not to call me that! I'm obliviously not a good enough father figure in your eyes for that title."

"You don't deserve that title." I tightened my fists at Eric's voice.

"Amity stop I don't want you to get hurt..." Luz's voice made her sound so broken. I can't stand it!

"To hell with my safety! I'm the one with magic here!"

"Magic? You really believe in that stuff don't you!" Eric laughed. "Now you've not only corrupted yourself with falsehoods, but others too? You really are pathetic."

Luz P.O.V.

Amity revealed herself surprising Eric.

"W-What the hell?!"

"Not some falsehood now huh?" Amity summoned a freakish abomination. It wasn't in the shape of a normal one,and it seemed to have a fiery glow.

"Who are you?"

"Not someone you wanna upset, but it's already to late for that isn't it?" Amity walked closer keeping a cold stare at Eric.

"What are you doing?!"

"Abomination, attack" The abomination moved swiftly toward Eric grabbing him by the neck and throwing him to the ground. The abomination left burn marks on his neck.

"What are you doing to me?"

"Aww don't like it? Should've thought of that before you hurt your own daughter! Abomination!" Amity made a subtle flick with her hand to signal a command. The abomination and Eric disappeared in a bright pink flash.

"W-where are they...?"

"You won't need to worry about him anymore."

"Amity what's going to happen to him?"

"We'll see. I've never used that command....." The emotionless tone in Amity's voice was scaring me.

"What does it do?"

"You won't like it, and I'm not planning on stopping"

"Is he going to be okay?"

"Doesn't matter if he dies he deserves it."

"D-dies? Amity are you trying to kill him?!" Is Amity a killer?! What is happening?!

"I- " Amity's eyes widened as she fell backwards. She caught herself on the back of the couch trying to figure out what happened. She looked surprised like this wasn't what she expected.

"Amity are you okay?!"

"I'm f-fine." Amity gave me a concerning look. She isn't feeling okay, but why won't she tell me?!

"Amity what's happening? I promise it's okay for you to tell me." I took Amity's hands in mine. She had very little reaction besides a small smile. The abomination returned with Eric in its hand. His body was covered in burn marks. The abomination dropped Eric in front of Amity.

"I'm sorry! I promise I'll never hurt her again!" Eric scrambled to his feet and out the door.

"Abomination, sync"The abomination dissolved into the air as it floated towards Amity. Amity's refrained manner morphed into her more emotion filled self. "That was a lot more draining than I expected..."

"What did it do to you?" Amity's injures combined with some a draining spell does not sound good.

"I created an abomination with my emotions, because it's stronger than a normal one. These kinds of abominations will drain the users ability to do much outside of controlling the abomination." I sighed in relief.

"You were scaring me." Amity threw her arms around me and pulled me close.

"I'm sorry I used more emotion than I intended."

"As long as your okay"

"I hope so....." Those words leave me confused, and worried.

Is she okay?
