Delusion

Amity P.O.V.

Luz felt a little bit warmer now. I drew a spell forming a blanket to lay on her so she'd hopefully warm up. I looked over at Lilith. She was still catching her breath from the abomination. "Abomination!" I took control of the abomination directing its arm to form a sword. Lilith was on the ground looking at the abomination. It grabbed her by the neck sinking the sword into her arm. Lilith let out a pained scream only making me grin. The abomination let go of Lilith before dissolving. "Next time, don't mess with a future Noceda." Satisfied with Lilith's condition I went back to Luz. She had warmed up by now and was just sleeping. I carefully picked her up and carried her back towards the treehouse. When I got there Edalyn was trying to roll herself out of the treehouse entrance.

"Come. On. You. Stupid. Ball!" Edalyn smashed her body into the side of the sphere in between each word. A few more tries and she fell off the balcony smashing the sphere. "Yes! Ouch!" I walked over to Edalyn as she got up. "Whoa kid what happened."

"Your sister" Edalyn grumbled walking in the direction I came from. "Don't worry about it. I already did a number on her. Besides we have to worry about Luz" Edalyn sighed focusing on Luz.

"What did Lily do?"

"She tried hitting both of us with a paralyzation spell,but Luz blocked it from reaching me." Edalyn smiled slightly.

"Always has to be the brave one doesn't she?" Edalyn chuckled drawing a spell over Luz, in which Luz's subtle subconscious grip grew tighter before relaxing. "That should help the pain and stop it from getting worse."

"You can't just reverse it?"

"I can't reverse it, but Lilith could"

"Yeah she won't do that for us anytime soon...." I looked towards where Lilith was, trying not to think of what she's doing. "Will it wear off?"

"Eventually, but if her body gives out before then...well" Edalyn sighed looking at Luz. "Come on, we gotta make sure Camila's alright." We walked back in silence an uneasy feeling surrounding us. We opened the door to find Camila dragging two guards into a closet by their ears.

"Pendejos" Camila shut the door and locked it before turning towards us instantly noticing Luz. "What happened?!"

"She protected me from a spell, it was supposed to only paralyze us but since she took the full blow..." I bit my lip feeling guilty I should've warned her not to protect me.

"The effects are worse." Edalyn finished my sentence for me. She looks worried, honestly I am too. Nobody can be 100% sure what Luz is going through. "It'll pass, but not for a few days...."

"She'll be okay though right?" The pure worry and concern in Camila's voice made my heart drop. "Edalyn! ¡Por favor, esto es sobre mi hija!" Camila grew more aggressive by the second. She grabbed Edalyn's shirt in which Edalyn pulled Camila off her in a panic.

"I-I don't know!"

"What the fuck do you mean you don't know?!"

"I mean I don't fucking know all right! I wish I did but I don't! I didn't know what to do about the kids I didn't know what to do when Lilith came, hell I didn't even know what to do when this shit first got crazy!" Edalyn's voice feels so sad and distraught. Not to mention her and Camila look like they're about to cry. I decided to get out of there and head up to Luz's room.

Luz P.O.V.

Somebody's yelling....is it mom..? Eda? Maybe both?

Bathe yelling faded out letting me hear a heartbeat. Whoever's it is their heart is beating fast. Whoever's holding me, whoever's heartbeat this is, they're warm. Comforting. I'm assuming it's Amity. I tried to move let her know I'm alright, but I can't. Amity must've laid me down on my bed or somewhere comfy.

"Am..i.." I tried talking instead which worked a little.

"I'm right here..."  Amity moved my hair out of my face kissing my forehead. I couldn't help but smile. I couldn't understand anyone else but Amity. And that's all I need right now. "And I'm sure as heck happy you're not here to hear those two..." Her voice went from relief to worry. I wanted to talk more but what to say?

"Cudd...les" Talking came way more easy than moving. I heard Amity giggle feeling her arms move around me. I opened my eyes but I wasn't in my room. I was surrounded by darkness. I felt something tap my shoulder making me jump it was Amity. She looks like glowing mist. Almost like an illusion. It's not Amity though. I know that much.

"So beautiful...."

"Who or what are you?"

"Oh I'm hurt Sweetheart, can't you tell it's me"

"You are not Amity." The illusion grinned grabbing my waist.

"Aren't I?" The illusion kissed me her hands fiddling with my shirt. I pulled away nervous. What the hell is this thing plotting?! "Don't struggle Sweetie...." it kissed me again this time it pulled away to take off my shirt.

"H-hey! Give that back!" The illusion snapped her fingers my shirt disappearing.

"But you're much cuter like this...." The illusion tried kissing me again but I pushed her off me. "I told you not to struggle, Sweetheart~"

"Stop!"

Damnit now I'm crying! Why can't this damn thing fucking shut up?!

"Stop? But why?" The illusion held my hands pulling me close again. "I just want to love you"

"I don't want this!"

"What's the problem Sweetie? I'm not your father, I'm not that scumbag that should rot in jail, or better yet burn in hell." The illusion cackled running her fingers through her hair. Undoing her signature bun letting her hair fall. "Now where we're we?" The illusion pushed me against a wall that seemed to just appear. Her hand grabbing my face kissing me again. I couldn't stop it no matter how badly I wanted. If I've learned anything from Dad it's to cooperate. It's the easiest way to not get hurt....I forced myself to focus on my thoughts not even paying attention to what I was doing.

I just want to wake up get out of this mess....why the hell am I even dreaming this?! Is this...is this even a dream? Why won't it stop? Why can't I make this stop?!

And then it did. It all went away. I can't see anything, all I can hear is humming. Faint distant humming. It's peaceful... I allowed myself to relax eventually realizing the humming resembles a song by girl in red called 'We fell in love in October'. I hummed along the lyrics floating through my head.

(Aaaaahhhhhhh if only my problems went away that easy. Any whoosie, I'm interested what questions everybody has so if you'd like I'll answer any questions in the comments 😁)
