Amity P.O.V.

Luz shuddered at the mere mention of her father, yet she still wanted to tell me about him.

"Two years ago my dad..." Luz was having a hard time finding the words to explain everything. "H-he... tried to do something to me.His actions before hand only made more sense o-once he...." Luz kept stopping herself from saying what her father did to her.

"Hey it's okay...It's just me." I placed my hand on Luz's back. Luz returned a weak smile, and tried her best to force the words out of her mouth.

"He r-raped me...." Luz wish she felt relief, but in reality she just felt like a burden.I could tell by her expression.

"What?" I was in shock to be honest.My family may be harsh, but they'd never even think to go that far. "Why would he ever do that?!"

"He was trying to make me straight I guess.....Showing me why I should just like guys. I am who I am and that's not something I can change....no matter how badly I wish I could." Luz started holding back tears.

"You don't need to change for anyone.Especially not for someone who'd do that to you." I hugged Luz as she buried her face in my neck. "I love you for who you are Luz.You can't change that and I'm happy for it." Luz's voice was muffled, but I could tell she was giggling.

"Thank you Amity....I really needed to tell someone about this...." I smiled as we laid back down onto Luz's bed.Wrapped in each others arms the feeling of Luz so close to me gave me a sense of peace, and clarity. It was probably the most sleep I've got in years.

Waking up with Luz right by my side used to be fantasy.Seeing her really next to me was the best thing I could ask for. You can always tell Luz's emotions when she's sleeping. In her current dream she seemed much happier than the previous one. Excited even. I can only wonder what her brain is conjuring up for Luz to be so peaceful. Luz's tired eyes blinked, before locking with mine. Luz looks so adorable waking up.

"Morning....." Luz slowly shifted her body closer to me, whilst sleepily reaching her arms towards me. I chuckled a little seeing how much effort she was putting in to getting to me. I took in the offer of her comforting grasp. I began resting my head in her messy hair, and Luz buried her face in my neck again. The warmth of our embrace gave me so much satisfaction.

"Careful we might fall back asleep"

"I don't care, I'm comfy"

"We should probably get up Luz...."

"My world.My rules." Luz lifted her head from my neck and gave me a smirk, before giving me a quick kiss.

"Luz." I raised an eyebrow whilst keeping a smirk on my face.

"Hmph....Fine"Luz got off me, and began stretching to wake herself up more. I sluggishly did the same. We made our way downstair, into the living room. "Mom must've left for work already...."

"What about Edalyn?"

"She's probably still asleep. We have the whole place to ourselves for a bit." Luz looked at me with a endearing smile on her face.

Luz P.O.V.

"What should we do then?"

"We could binge Azura movies!"

"As long as I can cuddle you while we do so."

"I thought you didn't want to fall back asleep."

"So you don't want my cuddles?"

"That's not what I meant!" I scoffed while Amity laughed as she sat on the couch in front of the TV. I walked over to the kitchen too get us a couple snacks.

I kinda wish I didn't tell Amity about Dad....But she'd ask me eventually right? So telling her about him last night was the best option.Plus Amity's the first person that really listened to my problems.....

I shook my head to try to clear it of possible intrusive thoughts.

"How do you work this stupid thing?!" Amity was frustratedly messing with the TV remote trying to figure out all the symbols.

"You need to turn it on first silly" I laughed as I came back into the living room. "Here let me see it" I set down a plate of snacks onto the coffee table, and sat next to Amity.

"Human stuff is confusing"

"It's the red one right here."I leaned closer to Amity to point at the on button. "See?" Amity handed me the remote in defeat.

"I don't think I'll ever understand it."

"It's not that hard Ami!"

"Oh so were using nicknames now?Should I call you Lu Lu?"

"I think something like Darling~?" Amity went completely red and looked away from me. "Aw what's the matter Darling~? Can't handle your sweetheart~?" I pinned Amity against the couch.Drawing our faces closer.

"Your such a dork." Amity pushed me off her gently. "I love you sweetie." I didn't expect Amity to call me anything out of the usual.

"I erm I love you too..."

"Pfft- you act all flirty until I flirt back? What kind of logic is that?" Amity continued laughing through her wonderful smile.

"Only because I'm your dorky otter" I grabbed Amity's face and pulled her into a kiss.Amity put her hand on my shoulder.Dragging me with her as she laid down.

"And I'm the flirty one? Your being real coward at the moment."

"Just give me cuddles." Amity wrapped her arms around me as I made myself comfortable.

"Your hair is soft." Amity was stroking her fingers through my hair.I was unsure if it was out of boredom or curiosity.Either way I didn't care I liked it. I felt myself begin to fall asleep, but was awoken by my phone beginning to ring. "Luz who's 'Eric Noceda'?"

"What?!" I jumped out of Amity's arms to grab my phone.

"Luz what's wrong?!"

"It can't be.....he..."

"Luz who's Eric?" Amity's eyes of concern met with mine. My body was full of a overwhelming feeling of paralyzing fear. It was hard to think straight.

"H-he's...my dad"
