"it's not worries, I've got nowhere to be but home..."

"It's a shame you can't come to Hogsmeade, Roberts. I would've bought you the most beautiful dress they have in the whole pathetic village," Draco claimed. They were sitting in the Slytherin common room that morning with Blaise, Crabbe, and Goyle. All the girls were running around frantically getting ready for the day because most of them would be getting their dresses for the ball on the trip.

Priscilla, on the other hand, couldn't care less. She was grounded by Dumbledore himself and was actually looking forward to spending the day in the empty school. She often snuck out of the common room at night to wander around in the comfortable silence.

"Who are you going to the ball with, Zabini?" Priscilla asked, trying to change the subject. Draco's advances were getting more and more aggressive as the days grew closer to Christmas.

Blaise looked exhausted as he sat and rubbed his temples. "I made the mistake of asking Pansy," he motioned over to her fighting with two other girls to look in the mirror and apply their makeup. She shoved one aggressively, launching the poor girl onto the floor, then resumed applying her deep red lipstick.

"Who are yous goin with, Roberts?" Crabbe asked with a mouth full of scone.

Goyle hit him upside the head, resembling Professor Snape. "She's going with Malfoy, ye twit."

"Right," Crabbe said, finishing off his scone, crumbs tumbling down his chin. "I knew that."

Priscilla sighed with relief when Cassius and Adrian came out of the dorm together. They were still adjusting their shirts and scarves as they walked over. "Who are you guys going with?" Cilla asked curiously.

"You're going to have to wait and see love," Adrian said with a mischievous wink.

Priscilla basked in the silence of the Slytherin common room once everyone had gone. Eventually, she got hungry, so she walked out into the hallway with a fuzzy black robe on paired with some slippers. It didn't really matter much what she wore, everyone was out at Hogsmeade today. She could finally let down her walls and breathe a bit.

She leaped with surprise to see someone else in the Great Hall, sitting at the Gryffindor table doing some work on a large piece of parchment.
