Priscilla bid farewell to the Weasleys the following morning, despite everyone's protests. Cilla had to keep her promise to spend the day at Diagon Alley with Nini and Cedric.

Immediately upon seeing her at Cedric's the next morning, Nitara grabbed Priscilla's face in her hands and stared directly into her soul. "What are you doing?" Priscilla asked with a squished face.

Nitara nodded and let go of her best friend's face. "Making sure I was looking into the eyes of a virgin," she said nonchalantly, making Cedric gasp. "Don't worry Cedric, she's still pure."

"Oh wait!" Priscilla exclaimed and grabbed Nini's face. "I'm looking into the eyes of an absolute meathead," she joked, making them all laugh.

Last night with Fred was eventful, but not in the same way Nitara was thinking. Fred had meant it when he agreed with her to take things slow, constantly asking if she was okay and if she wanted to stop. At a certain point, they both just got sleepy and decided to cuddle into a deep sleep instead. Unlike the cot in the hospital wing, this was far more enjoyable. Fred's chest made an excellent pillow.

Despite their best efforts, they couldn't sleep longer than an hour at a time. The smell of peppermint and Fred's cologne would fill Cilla's senses, rise her out of her sleep, and they'd talk for a little while about random things before falling back asleep.

One time, she woke up to him stroking her hair softly.

Fred really, really didn't want her to leave that morning, complaining and using every excuse he could think of to make her stay in bed with him. "Priscilla, feel my forehead, it's a fever I swear," "Priscilla, I'm going to hurl," "It's so cold out there, you should stay with me where it's warm," were among some of her favorites.

The compromise they made was she would wear his (washed) quidditch jersey paired with a hand-woven bracelet Ginny made her with green and red yarn. "It's a friendship bracelet," she said quietly, checking over her shoulders for her brother's ridicule. Cilla was touched.

Now Cilla was faced with the floo network yet again, but she couldn't care less about the soot. She'd heard everyone talk about the infamous Diagon Alley, its sweet shops, fantastical patrons, and overall vibe.

When she, Nitara, and Cedric arrived that afternoon, Cilla's eyes went wide with awe. Bag flung over her shoulder, she was holding hands with Cedric and Nitara looking at the tall bricked buildings surrounding her. It smelled like smoke and holly and all the shops were still lined with funky Christmas decorations. People were bustling around in and out of the shops all around her.
