Living in a typical Gujrati family is really stressful but what Shakshi di said was right. I finally coped up with them also with my mother-in-law if not with Disha. I am sure she is upto something but I'm just too tried after doing household chores that I don't feel like concentrating on her.
I came in my room after completing my work, at the afternoon and found Anant sitting on the bed with his laptop.
"Hey!" I sat beside him as he gave a short smile.
"Work done?"
"Yup! Yours?"
"Ah, not yet." he replied. "Well, I have... something to tell you."
"Yes sure, what?" I asked as he sighed.
"Priya I'm sorry but...I have to go."
"Um...to the washroom?" I asked.
"No silly, I have to go for work."
"Work...? I didn't get you. You go to work everyday but what's the matter today?" I gulped slightly getting what he mean to say.
"I have to go to Delhi for a month." he finally spitted out.
"What about me then? Won't you take me there?"
"I can't Priya. You have to stay here only and I'll try to come back soon."
"When are you leaving?" Tears almost filled my eyes. How can I stay without him? And I don't want to stay in this family alone.
"Tomorrow."
"TOMORROW?! and you're telling me now?! How can I stay without you?" I said, sadly.
"I'm sorry but my boss informed me now only and I know you are strong and can take care of yourself." he smiled.
"Stop giving me fake hope. I'll miss you and you know your sister..."
"I'll miss you too and for Disha, she is like that only and Shakshi and Radhika are there. Don't worry too much and I'll come back soon. Now please do me a favour." he said.
"What?"
"Smile." he smiled and I chuckled at his reaction.

"Brother, finally you are going but what's the need of leaving this burden here?" Disha said irritatingly as Anant was about to leave.
"Disha, she is your sister-in-law and I'll hope that you two will get along in this month. So don't mistreat her." he said.
"Never in my life and you don't have to show so much love." she rolled her eyes as I faked a smile.
"You don't have to worry about her, I'll take care of her." I said as everyone laughed a bit. The driver put his luggage in the car as he hugged me for the last time before going.
"Take care."
"You too."
We took blessings of the elders and we all bid him goodbye as he drove away. We went inside and I noticed Disha smirking at me, indicating that there is no one to protect me now. Silly! When did I ever need his help to protect myself? And I know I'm enough for you and this smirk of yours won't stay longer.
"Mom, I'm going to the terrace." I said and went to the terrace to dry the clothes. After that I helped Shakshi and Radhika to cook food and served tea to everyone.
After lunch I went to my room and laid on the bed. Gosh! I'm already missing him and just wonder, I've to spend this whole month like this. At the evening, I called Manprit.
"Hey bro!"
"Yo! What's up, idiot?" He said in the call.
"I'm elder than you, in case you forgot that you should give me some respect." I said, sarcastically.
"You are elder? Oh, I thought you're older, old lady!" He mocked. "I guess your hair turned white?"
"Sadly no and how's everything going on?"
"Great! Life became awesome without you!"
"Yeah yeah, that's why you call me everyday." I smiled.
"It's nothing, I should take care of my sister as she is not as intelligent and strong as me." he said proudly as I laughed.
"No, I have to lie or else a kid will be angry." I teased.
"Who's the kid?" He said with a fun tone.
"Oh no one, my lord." I giggled. After arguing for an hour, I decided to go out and take a look into what's happening. I fixed my hair and opened the door but was surprised to see Disha standing in front of me.
