Shakshi's POV :
It's been almost a month and mom is tensed that Anant haven't returned home. She don't know that he is at Manpriya's house. I wanted to explain mom that she should give Manpriya another chance but she is too stupid to listen to me.
Also I'm trying to keep an eye on Disha but it's of no use. She spends half of her day outside the house and also she is mad at me. Ah! She should be!
*Door bell rings*
I washed my hands and went to open the door. I opened it and saw a guy wearing black mask and cap standing there.
"How can I help you?" I asked
"You don't have to help me. I'm here to give a courier" he said.
"Oh! Who's courier is it?"
"It's in the name of Miss Disha Chauhan" he said "Can you please call her and tell her to sign in the paper?"
"I'm sorry but she is not home. I can sign it if you want" I said as he thought for a while.
"Alright but make sure you give this to her" he said and I signed the paper and took the small envelope. I looked at the envelope and it seems to have pictures but who can send this? And what's inside it?
"Um..you seems new here?" I asked that guy as I can't see his face clearly.
"I'm new here but not new to you" he winked and left from there.
Manprit...?
I smiled and looked at the envelope "seems like they did it".
I closed the door and kept the envelope on the Disha's bed and closed the door and went to the kitchen to do my work. Finally I think everything will be ok as before.
.
I was done with the cooking when Disha care to come home. I saw her removed her shoes and directly went to her room without even looking anywhere. Does she thinks this as a restaurant that she will go and come her to eat anytime? If that's so, then atleast she should pay me *pout*.
I served the food and was waiting for the disaster when I heard the breaking of a glass from inside Disha's room.
"What happened?" Mom asked
"Maybe she mistakenly broke the glass. Chill mom, come and eat" I smirked and Radhika chuckled. Everyone took their seats and was waiting for Disha to come but there was no sign of her .
"I should call her" I said and knocked at her door.
"Disha food is served" I said
"I'm not hungry" she said from inside.
I mentally giggled and knocked again "But everyone is waiting for you. Come and eat a little, I bet you're hungry too"
"I said that I'm not hungry! Please don't disturb me!" She yelled.
"Alright alright! Do you need more glasses to break?" I asked, controlling my laughter.
"You're having so much fun right?" She sniffed and said, without opening the door "As everything went on according to your plan"
"This was only to make you see the truth. Now come and eat, we'll talk about it later. Don't make a scene" I said.
"Tell everyone to eat. I'm not coming out" she said as I sighed. I went to the dining table and took my seat.
"Where's Disha?" Dad asked.
"She said that she's not hungry"
"Why? Did anything happen?" Mom asked.
"I don't know but I'll bring the food to her room later" I said as they nodded. After the lunch, mom tried to knock at Disha's door but she was not ready to open. Everyone was worried about it.
If they would have worried a bit for Manpriya too...
I wanted to tell everyone about what happened but things may become worse so I remained silent. It was already evening and I decided to knock at Disha's room for a last time. So I arranged the food and went to her
"Disha, open the door! I brought your lunch!" I said
"I'm not hungry.." she said
"Atleast open the door and let me come in. Your sacrifices will not affect Viraj so stop it and let me explain everything" I said but this time she didn't replied. I heard her footsteps coming near the door and finally she opened it.
Her eyes were blood red and her hair was almost a mess. I saw red marks on her arm and her legs were bleeding.
Is she a masochist?
I looked around the room which is in a worst state and the pictures of Viraj with other girls are scattered on the floor. I peeped at the mirror which had a cross mark with red lipstick. She looked at me with her scary eyes and I gulped.
"Don't eat me ok? I brought food!" I pushed her inside and locked the door from inside. I gave her the food and picked up the photos.
"Burn them..." She muttered.
"Have your lunch first " I said and started arranging the room. She ate a little and told me to sit beside her.
"I didn't knew that Viraj is like that..." She said
"But I knew it and Manpriya too that's why she alerted you. Do you really think that love can be obtained by power and money? Believe me, he was after you just for money" I said.
"But I really loved him."
"You still love him?" I asked
"No" she said quickly
"That means it all settled now. He is not a perfect guy for you and you're not a perfect girl for him. Your feelings were just attraction which you wanted to turn into love. And now since you came to know everything, just forget him" I said.
"But the revenge..."
"No need. You better don't take any steps and just leave him, it would be better for all of us" I said as she nodded. It was silent after that so I decided to speak first.
"And what about Manpriya?" I said and she looked at me with guilt.
