Manpriya POV:
I didn't knew that we are really worthless! Yea, we couldn't click a single photo of Viraj when Manprit's best friend did it! Anyways, Manprit send the photos to my husband's house-
My husband's house?
My husband?
Aw, I've a husband
Yes! Yes! Yes! My husband!
Aww, it feels so good to say My SWEET hubby!
Enough now! Manprit said that he gave the photos to Shakshi and now I'm relieved that everything is gonna be fine.
"It's already night but Shakshi still haven't called me nor Mom" I said sitting on the bed.
"Don't worry, maybe they are busy in consoling Disha" Anant said.
"What's there to console her?" I muttered so that they can't hear it.
.
After the dinner I was looking at my phone in a hope that maybe Shakshi but she didn't. What's going on there? If Disha realised the truth then she should've called me from herself but why no one is calling me?
I'm really having a bad feeling about this...
I finally gave up and called Shakshi.
"Hello!" She answered it
"Who's everything there? Did Disha understand her fault?" I asked
"Yes she did. She realised how Viraj cheated her and now she won't go to him anymore" she replied as I smiled.
"That's great then may I come home tomorrow?"
"Actually Manpriya....um..I don't know how to say this but."
"What happened?" I asked.
"Disha realised her mistake but she is not ready to accept the truth in front of others and also told that Mom will misunderstand her and that's why she will never let that happen" Shakshi said making me shock.
"What the-? Does she hates me this much?" I said irritatingly.
"Maybe not but you know how she is. She will never let mom know about her fault" Shakshi said.
"Then am I really going to get divorce?" I asked.
"We have to think of another plan. You have the photos of Disha and Viraj right?" She asked as I opened the drawer to look for the photos
"Oh no! I think I send all the photos to Disha" I said nervously.
"You don't have any photos of them?" She asked as I replied as NO
"Without the photos how will you prove yourself and Disha won't go to him again" she said
"I never thought that Disha will still be against me....I really lost this time" I said slowly.
"It's not over yet. We'll think of another solution" she said
"But there is no other solutions. The photos are with Disha and Mom is eagerly waiting for Anant to come home then we'll get divorced. My parents are completely ignoring me and I have totally helpless now" I said.
"Do you know that today Mom called Anant?" Shakshi asked me after a pause.
"She called him? But he didn't told me that" I asked in a surprise.
"I knew that maybe you don't know this. She told him to return home tomorrow only" Shakshi said.
"But everyone knows that he is still in his working place?"
"Mom got to know that Anant is with you and she ordered him to come tomorrow or never" Shakshi sighed.
"She knows that he is here but don't know that her loving daughter is the reason why her son and daughter-in-law is out of the house? Just freaking great! She should be awarded with the Oscar for being the most intelligent mother-in-law!" I said with sarcastically.
"I know it sounds like that but you should talk with Anant and I'm hanging up because it would be a trouble if someone finds out taht I'm talking with you" she said as I nodded.
"Okay bye!" I said and hanged up.
.
The next morning poor Anant got scolded from me for not telling me that his mother called him yesterday. I was angry but still I am lucky to get someone like him because only few people choose their wife's side when they his marriage is arranged by his family.
"So?" He asked me with a pout, trying to show his anger.
"So what?" I asked.
"Will I go to the house or not?" He asked
"Of course you will. Do you want go stay here forever or what?" I said as he passed me a glare.
"*Sigh* Ok I'm leaving then and-"
"What will you tell your mother?" I asked
"Um... what should I tell?" He scratched his head as I faceplamed myself
"My dear naive husband, don't act like a statue in front of your mother and please speak few words in behalf of your poor wife also. Got it?" I said as Manprit laughed.
I don't understand what's so fuuny here. I swear I'll laugh when he'll be in a trouble *shows my tongue mentally*
Anant dressed up and left for his house. I hope everything will be okay there and may mom give a little more time . God, what type of family is this?
"Will you go inside or planning to stay here only?" Manprit asked breaking my mini thinking session and I realised that I'm standing outside only. I nodded and came inside and closed the door.
"Don't think too much. I know your mother-in-law maybe strict but she won't let you divorce him" Manprit told me.
"Only if you know. She can do anything" I muttered
"Trust God and don't lost in your la-la-la land" he laughed as I rolled my eyes.
Isn't it great that I'm out of proof now? I am totally confused about what's gonna happen next and trust me, I'm tried of putting so much effort and now I want some peace. I don't want to think about the consequences and let me go with the flow? I tried enough and it's time for the God to make a new way for me.
With that I went to my room and did my favourite thing ~ Sleeping.
