Excitedly, Khun hopped down the stairs in his office building, not wanting to waste time waiting for an elevator.
He pushed open the office building door to be met with the crisp fall air. Even though the building was only next door, he was glad he had put his coat on.
Approaching the florists entrance, Khun smiled and nearly chuckled in his excitement, knowing that Bam would be surprised to see him at this time of the day.
Before he opened the door, he spotted Bam by the wall of flowers, topping up the buckets with water. He calmed himself before pushing open the door, not wanting to come across as too eager.
*Ding Dong*
The now familiar chime rang out as the door swung up.
"Welco- Khun-san! What are you doing here?"
Khun stifled a chuckle as Bam nearly dropped the watering can he was holding.
"Hey Bam, excited to see me much?"
In his own excitement, Khun forgot to tone down his flirting. He knew he shouldn't be trying to progress their relationship any further. Whilst he was currently single, in just a few days, he would be engaged.
"N-No, I was just surprised, that's all."
Khun felt disappointed when Bam didn't react to his comment, and instead turning away and continuing his task of watering the flowers.
"Well, I'm here on business to be honest..."
Curious, Bam stopped what he was doing to face Khun's direction.
"I need some flowers. It's an employees birthday today and we need something pretty damn amazing to keep her happy. Your bouquets were the first thing to pop into my head."
"That's very flattering Khun-san but for something extravagant.... I don't know if I'll be able to do something like that for you today... And, even if I can, it's likely to be expensive."
Bam made his way behind the counter and flicked through a book placed there.
"Money isn't an issue. Please Bam, for me!"
He begged, walking across to meet Bam at the counter, leaning across it so Bam could see his puppy dog eyes.
Bam looked doubtful but Khun could tell he was wavering.
"Pleeeaassse? I'll wait here while you do and keep you company?"
Bam glanced away and then back again and gave in.
"Urgh, fine but you owe me for this Khun-san!"
"Yes! I will do anything you ask, I promise!"
"Don't celebrate too soon! We're a premium rate florist, we might be too expensive for you!"
Khun laughed at this, knowing that money wouldn't be an issue.
"Right, so we need to look at flowers. It's for an employee?"
"Yep, she's a pretty special employee so we need to keep her happy. She likes big and extravagant. Basically she thinks of herself as a princess."
Bam chuckled at Khun's description of his employee.
"Right, okay so we'll probably want to put some diamante's in there. How about pink roses? They mean gratitude, appreciation and admiration. Plus roses just scream elegance."
"Yep that sounds good!"
"Aaaand then maybe a couple of Pink Stargazer Lilies. They mean wealth, prosperity, honor and aspiration."
