Saturday evening soon arrived and Khun was dressed to the nines in a black tuxedo, with his signature white button up shirt and black tie, his pale blue hair framing his porcelain face.

"Aguero darling, are you ready to go?"

Khun had spent the day at his mothers large house outside the city centre upon her request. She wanted to make sure he looked presentable and knew exactly what he was doing.

"Of course, mother."

Calmly responding to his mother, it was late afternoon when the two made their way to the black car awaiting them outside.

As they drove off the estate, Khun's stomach started turning in circles as his anticipation, anxiety and excitement grew.

Upon arriving at the large, grand hotel, Khun and his mother were ushered inside immediately. They were guided to a large banquet hall that was already full of people.

They were swarmed by guests wanted to offer their congratulations on Khun's engagement. Without saying much, Khun escaped, leaving his mother to deal with the formalities, he was only looking for one person.

His eyes swept the room, searching. He noticed a good deal of his siblings had attended, as was expected. He also noticed his father had arrived and was surrounded by business men, but he would speak to him later. He strolled a little further into the room and noticed a blonde haired boy, a little younger than him sitting off to the side alone, looking very depressed.

Isn't he one of the kids disowned by the Jahad family?

He was curious but now was not the time.

Finally, he found the person he was looking for.

Determined, he walked over to the person in question.

"Excuse me, would you mind if I borrow Ehwa for just a moment?"

He politely interrupted the conversation and, without waiting for an answer from the other guests, he grabbed Ehwa's wrist and pulled her over to a quiet side of the room.

"Aguero!?"

Surprised by the sudden force, Ehwa pulled her arm out of Khun's grip.

"Sorry, sorry I just need to talk to you for a moment."

"What is it?"

This was the first time they had seen each other since the night they first met. And the words that fell out of Khun's mouth were the last words that Ehwa had expected.

"Ehwa.... let's not do this."

Khun's calm statement was first met with stunned silence which then quickly turned to panic.

"Ex-excuse me?"

"Neither of us want this. We both have someone else we would rather be with."

Ehwa's gaze looked slightly off to the side instinctively. Following her line of sight, Khun spotted the blonde haired Jahad boy, staring at them forlornly. Khun smiled, acknowledging the situation.

"So the Jahad kid is the one who gave you the red roses."

Ehwa's attention snapped back to Khun.

"I've decided not to bend to my families will anymore just to get ahead in life, and I think it's time for you to decide whether you should take that step as well."

The two stood in silence for a few moments as Ehwa processed what was going on. Her eyes started to glisten with tears as she choked out her relived response.
