"Good morning, Tower Florist, how can I help?"

A bright and cheery voice answered the phone.

"Hi, I need to order a bouquet for collection."

"Of course, do you know what you would like? What's the event? Is it a special occasion?"

Khun was met with a barrage of questions he did not need.

"Can I just get a dozen red roses please."

He replied in a flat tone.

"Oh! Really? Just red roses? If you tell me what they are for I can add in-"

"Just a dozen red roses. Nothing else."

Irritation etched in his tone, Khun always got annoyed when employees didn't listen to their customers.

"....right. What's the name and time for collection?"

The bright and cheery voice on the end of the line disappeared and now echoed Khun's annoyance.

"Khun. 7pm."

"That's when we close so you'll have to be on time."

"Fine. Thanks, I'll pay on collection."

Anger building up in his stomach, Khun quickly ended the call.

What the hell! How could he be so rude to a customer?! I'll never be using this place again, even if it is the most convenient!

He tied his pale blue hair back and, Continuing with his paperwork, Khun attempted to distract himself from the horrible feeling in his stomach.

There was nothing he hated more than bad business practices.

His day then continued as normal, constant influx of emails and paperwork until it was finally time to leave.

Checking his watch as he packed away his laptop, it was 6.50pm. He had 10 minutes to get to the florist. It would only take him a few minutes to walk down to the florist next door so he took his time packing away his things aiming to get there bang on 7pm.

His annoyance with the florist on the phone hadn't quite faded and he was determined to be a difficult customer.

Slowly treading his way through the building, Khun eventually found himself standing outside the florist.

The entire store front was made out of glass.

He peered into the shop before entering. The light was still on but there was no one around.

Checking his watch, it was 7.01pm.

Crap, I wouldn't be surprised if that little shit on the phone closed up shop just because I'm a minute late.

Stepping up to the store front, he pushed open the door, relieved when it opened.

A chime went off as he stepped into the small store.

"Just a minute!"

A voice called out from toward the back of the store though Khun couldn't see anyone.

Without responding, he stood in the entranceway, letting the door close behind him as he inspected his surroundings.

It was a brightly lit store, to his left there were buckets lined up on shelves filled with all different species and colours of flowers. The back of the shop had ready made bouquets and gifts that could be bought off the shelf and a counter with a cash register and area to prepare flowers.
