Khun was thankful that he had the weekend to sort out his thoughts.
By the time Monday came around, he had steeled his resolve and decided that marrying Ehwa would be the best decision, rather than wasting time getting to know another man who may have no interest in him.
Whether he made this decision based on his future goals, or his fear of rejection, he refused to acknowledge and ignored those thoughts.
Following his usual routine, he showered, dressed and left his apartment in time to arrive at the office for 7am.
The short walk felt like an eternity. The closer he got, the slower he walked, trying to ignore the beating of his heart as it quickened with every step.
Just as he was reaching the florist, he mentally pep talked himself.
Just keep walking Aguero. No need to look inside. He probably isn't there. No, we don't need to look and check anyway!
However his body ignored him as his head turned to look through the glass, spotting Bam behind the coffee counter, wiping it down.
His resolve instantly melted.
It won't hurt to speak to him one last time.... I mean we work next door to each other, I'm going to have to get used to seeing him!
With that thought, his body already on autopilot, he pushed open the door to the florists.
He was already smiling expecting a warm welcome.
"Khun-san! It's good to see you!"
The bright bundle of energy, gestured for him to take a seat at the counter.
"Did you have a good weekend?"
Khun hesitated to respond, he couldn't exactly say 'no, I couldn't stop thinking about you'.
"Yeah, it was fine, could have been better. How about you?"
"Oh, well I hope nothing bad happened to you?"
Khun waved off his question indicating that it was fine.
"What about your weekend?"
"I was working here on Saturday and I had yesterday off. It was good, although it felt a bit lonely."
Bam replied as he leaned on the counter, chatting to Khun.
"Oh I completely forgot to ask what you wanted to order!"
Blushing slightly, he pushed himself off the counter and awaited instruction.
"Black coffee."
He smirked as he replied, expecting a similar response to last time.
Bam raised an eyebrow.
"Look, we already clarified last time that that sort of drink doesn't go with your soul."
"Haha, then how about you make me something that matches it better."
Chuckling, Khun tested the young man who initially responded with a thoughtful look before answering with excitement shining in his eyes.
"Really? I have just the thing!"
Khun watched, content, as Bam hummed whilst making the drink.
"So what are you making me drink and is it poisonous?"
"Haha, it's a latte of sorts, and no it isn't poisonous because that wouldn't match your soul."
Grinning, Bam placed the drink in it's takeaway cup on the counter in front of Khun.
