Khuns head was in a daze as he walked home carrying the red flower in one hand and his bag in the other. His mind could only focus on the feeling of Bam's breath on his ear, his low but gentle tones reverberating in his ear drums. It sent a shiver down his spine just thinking about it.
His thoughts were obsessing over one person and one person only for the rest of the night.
Wednesday morning and Khun woke up surprisingly early. Making his way through his apartment, preparing for work that day, he spotted the red flower he had placed in a vase over night. He considered taking it into the office with him but this way he would be able to have a reminder of Bam both at work and at home, not that he needed reminding of him.
His only conundrum then, was how would he get someone to tell him the flowers interpretations if he couldn't show them. A brilliant idea flashed through his mind and he whipped out his phone taking a few snaps of the flower from different angles.
He then finished getting ready for work and began his commute. It was the same routine he had completed for the past few days, albeit slightly altered depending on his lateness. As he approached the florist, his anticipation grew.
Slowing his pace, he peered through the window but couldn't spot Bam, instead he noticed Jinsung sitting on one of the bar stools. He decided to pop his head in to see if there was anything wrong with Bam, after all he did have plans to meet up with him during lunch.
*Ding Dong*
"Morning!"
Khun cheerfully called out, distracting Jinsung from reading his newspaper.
"Ah, it's the Khun Kid!"
"Haha, yeah... Um, is Bam not around today, is he okay?"
Jinsung raised an eyebrow to the question, Khun stayed rooted in the doorway to the store.
"What, am I not good enough for you?"
Jinsung teased Khun who was about to start apologising.
"I'm just messing with you. Nah, the kid is out on a delivery this morning."
"Oh, I didn't realise you did delivery."
"Yup, was the kids idea. He doesn't think he'll be any good running the shop but honestly, he does more than me nowadays. Anyway, anything I can help you with?"
"No, it's fine, just making sure he was okay because I'm meeting up with him later."
"Ha! I know you are, that's why I'm actually having to get off my ass and do some work this afternoon."
"Sorry about that. Well, I'll be off then."
"Sure thing, friend."
Urgh.
Khun realised that that joke probably wouldn't stop any time soon and he hated how it actually made him happy hearing someone else acknowledge that there was obviously something between them. It was the absolute worst possible time for this to happen.
He then continued the journey to his office next door, once he arrived he quickly snapped photos of the flowers on his desk and realised that, next chance he got, he would sneakily ask Jinsung to translate their meanings for him.
The day wore on without any problems and Khun was excited for his lunch time to arrive.
"What do you want me to get you for lunch today Khun?"
Shibisu walked into Khun's open office asking his usual question. Khun usually ate alone in his office and Shibisu would go to buy whatever lunch he had requested for that day beforehand.
