Keith's POV

"Something wrong?" Lance looked at me as he quirked a brow. I bit the inside of my mouth and turned off my phone. "Yeah—well, no. The group is coming over to help me cope." I answered quietly. Lance didn't look at all annoyed, more like surprised. "Is Hunk coming with his delicious cookies?!" He beamed.

I rolled my eyes and shook my head with a soft smile. "I don't know but probably."

Lance cheered and started floating around. I don't think everything will be the same when he leaves. I mean he does leave next Tuesday so I gotta spend time with him. But what if my memory will be erased? I just wasted my time basically. Maybe he won't get his memory erased and will possibly remember the fun we had.

I don't know. I should stop thinking about this. It really isn't helping the fact that I honestly just want to keep Lance to m-No. Keith no. He's a demon. You shouldn't get attached to him. "We should move downstairs." Lance recommended as he floated back down to the floor. I hummed in response and grabbed my favorite dark navy blue blanket.

I slid out of bed reluctantly and walked out my room with Lance by my side. He started babbling about random things he watched on YouTube. It was actually pretty cute. The way he brightened up when he was talking about a certain video, the way he smiles when he remembers every single lick of detail of said video is absolutely precious.

We made it down the stairs and sat in the living room. "So who's coming?"

I got comfortable in my blanket and grabbed the remote. "Pidge, Hunk, Allura, Romelle, and Lotor." I answered as I turned on the tv and switching it to fire stick. "How did you know they were coming?" He cocked a brow.

I chuckled, "They texted me." Lance stared at me confused. I giggled knowing I had to explain it to him, but I honestly think it's better if Romelle and Pidge do the talking. I'm not that good at explaining so I leave it to the girls.

Lance looked towards the door when the doorbell rung. He got up to answer it but was dragged back by the chain. He let out a yelp when he fell on me. "Sorry about that." He says quickly and gets off me.

"'S fine. I guess the chain is becoming a little strict on how far we're supposed to be now since we haven't bonded yet." I shrugged and got up to open the door. Lance had to follow me so he doesn't get dragged again. I opened the door and saw Hunk and Pidge. They came in and gave me a tight hug. I smiled at the warmness they brought. "I'm so sorry for your loss Keith." Hunk said in a hushed tone.

"It's fine. I really don't wanna talk about it." I whispered and let Hunk talk to Lance for the time being. "Romelle, Allura, and Lotor are on their way." Pidge smiled softly at me and gave me a pat on the back. "Oh okay."

I didn't really look at their attire until a few minutes later. "Pajamas?" I asked in a confused tone. "We're spending the night!" Hunk said cheerfully. I blinked. "Why?" I asked as I cocked a brow.

"To help ya cope." Pidge said nonchalantly. She and Hunk walked into the kitchen to prepare the snacks Hunk brought. "On a school night?" Lance looked at me baffled. I shrugged and laughed lightly. "You should smile more."

I choked. "Hah?!" Lance started laughing at my reaction. I could feel the heat rushing to my face as I rolled my eyes. Lance's laugh turned into chuckles when he heard the doorbell ring. "I'll answer it this time, Keef." He says as he reaching for the doorknob.
