Keith

After finding out that his mother died, they went home. Keith didn't know what to do with himself. It felt as if this was a terrible dream that he wish he could wake up from. He already lost his dad; he didn't once fucking expect the universe would take someone that means so much to him. He was so wrong—dead wrong. There wasn't anything he could do. He doesn't know how long Lance has been gone and he doesn't know how many hours he has been crying.

Everything felt as if it was turning to shit. Shiro allowed Keith to stay home that day while he went to work. He wiped away the tears that were on his cheeks. He sniffled and hugged his pillow tight to his chest. "Lance, where are you?" He whispers as he felt himself breaking more. He choked out a sob and the tears started flowing once again. Keith looked up when he heard a poof.

"Sorry about that Keith. Satan is being a jackass." Lance mumbled and floated next to Keith. "I'm sorry for your loss."

Keith set his pillow to the side and wrapped his arms around Lance's torso. "Don't leave me too, Lance!" He yelled as he cried into the Demon's chest. Lance blinked before softly smiling and running his claws through Keith's hair. "I'm not going anywhere Keith."

They stayed like that for a bit before Keith letted him go. Lance spawned a box of tissues and started wiping away Keith's tears and snot. "'S okay. She's in a better place now. She's protected now." He whispers and placed a kiss on Keith's hand. "How about we watch a movie, kay?"

Keith nodded slowly and watched as Lance grabbed the remote. Keith got comfortable in his bed and watched Lance scroll through Netflix. Keith watched most of the movies on here, but he hadn't watched birdbox yet. He poked Lance and the boy turned his head and cocked a brow at Keith, "Something sparked your interest?" He asks.

Keith nodded, "Birdbox." Lance hummed and pressed on the movie. The movie started playing and the room fell into a comfortable silence. Keith took a sneak glance at Lance and saw him sharply watching the movie. He felt a little bit of heat rush to his face. Damn he hopes that this infatuation ends quickly. He doesn't want to get too attached. "Something wrong?"

Keith blinked and shook his head, "Oh no—just—I'm just hungry." He lied.

"Is there something in particular that you would want to eat?" He cocked a brow.

Well, Keith didn't really have an appetite. He still feels a bit squeamish about eating. He hates himself for being like this. It sucks. "On second thought, 'm not hungry." Keith mumbled. He saw Lance giving him a weird look before putting his gaze back onto the movie. He really wants to hug Lance right now. Damn it.

"Your emotions are acting up, are you sure you're okay?" Lance asked with a hint of worry. Keith nodded and brought his knees to his chest. Lance didn't look like he believed him but shrugged it off anyway. Keith turned his head to his door when he heard the doorbell ring. Keith went to get up but was stopped by Lance. "I'll get it." He said cheerfully. Keith rolled his eyes, "I have to go with you regardless." Keith got out of bed and walked out his room. He slowly walked down the stairs and opened the front door.

He was immediately engulfed into a tight hug. He tensed up not really knowing what to do. Keith awkwardly hugged the person back and pushed the person off him. "I missed you so much." The brown haired man said with a smile. Keith felt his whole world crash down. "You haven't changed at all." He placed a kiss on Keith's forehead.
