It's been a week since Zysk and Jacob decided to move in my unit, at isa lang ang masasabi ko. MAGULO. Sobrang gulo, they always fight even in the smallest thing, sa paghugas ng pinagkainan, pagluluto, pagligpit ng kalat. No'ng unang gabi they fought about the bed, since my unit has 2 bedrooms and I am occupying the other bedroom napilitan tuloy silang magsama sa iisang kwarto and I can't find anything wrong about that idea. It's normal, they're boys.
"Oo mamayang hapon daw sa main hall."
"Anong meron?" I asked Samanta who's currently sipping her chuckie. Tiningnan niya ako na para bang ang tanga tanga ko para itanong yon.
"Hello? Earth to, Erin Gracinni we we're talking about the event later mayroong Case Parade at si Zysk ang isasalang nila. I know you know him kasi diba magkasama kayo noong Welcoming rites."
I nodded, I wasn't informed about this event. Wala ding sinabi sa akin si Zysk kahit na nakatira kami sa iisang bubong. The thought of me and Zysk living in the same roof makes me blush. I know it isn't as what every one thinks it is, we're not live in partners because Jacob also lives with us.
Hapon nang mapagdesisdesisyunan naming tatlo na manood ng Case Parade. We seated in the back row and let the crowd hide our existence. Pagkalipas ng ilang minuto ay nagsimula na ang Case Parade, the teacher called the prosecutor and the defendant. Zysk was the prosecutor and to my surprise the defendant was Kylisle.
"Alam ko na patutunguhan nito." Bulong ni Yong sa amin.
"Itatalo ni Kylis ang kaso dahil may something sa kanila ni Zysk." pagtatapos ni Yong sa kanyang salita. Samanta then opposed.
"Hindi no. Matatalo si Kylisle dahil magaling na prosecutor si Zysk." they continued talking about the two lawyers in the stage while I am only looking at how compatible they are.
They are both taking Law, they have the same interest, maganda din si Kys and I know na magaling din siya bilang lawyer. Parang piniga ang puso ko sa katotohanang iyon. Everyone is also voting for their love team. I hissed.
"Seems like everyone will go against us if I'll accept his offer of fixing our relationship."
"All rise this court is now in session." the judge started the trial. Alam ko di na practice lang ito but my heart is pounding abnormally. I have never seen Zysk doing his recitations, or how he stood in front of their class and now, here he is in his corporate attire looking so serious and manly.
"They're talking about rape case." Napalingon agad ako sa may ari ng boses na yon and my eyes went wide to see Harrison beside me. Kasama niya sina Jacques at Kirby, they wave their hands at me and I smiled.
"You're present but your brain is flying." Harris snorted. I rolled my eyes.
"I don't know anything about Law."
"And surprisingly, you're here, Engineer Gracinni." I ignored, Harrison. I don't know what's with him o anong trip niya sa buhay but his presence makes me uncomfortable.
"Rape case. Isang 30 years old PWD ang victim, ang suspect ay ang kapit bahay nito. The twisted part is that he impregnated the woman." Harrison discussed. He got my full attention.
"Sabi mo PWD ang babae." he nodded while looking at the stage kung saan nagaganap ang hearing.
"Mentally ill. She was abused by her father when she was still a kid, traumatized and she lost her sanity."
"Why do you know a lot?" totoo naman kasi, he know's a lot about the case. Parang siya pa ang prosecutor for his information. He heard him chuckled.
"Nabasa ko ang report ni Zysk."
Magkakaibigan nga sila, pare-parehong may kaabnormalan.
"Tomorrow's my case. Manonood ka din ba?" Harrison asked out of nowhere.
"Kapag hindi ka nanood bukas, I'll tell everyone that you're staying on the same roof with Zysk."
I glared at him and he pinches my cheek.
"I know everything, Erin."
With a raised brow and confused look I stared at him.
"Bros before hoes, Harrison." I stepped a back when I heard Zysk's baritone voice. He's now on his white polo with his coat in his arm and his attache case. He's looking at Harrison with his death glare. I cleared my throat when I noticed everyone's us on eyes. They're making a scene.
Harrison patted my head while smiling. He lean closer and whispered something on my ear.
"Anong problema mo?" I asked Zysk who's sitting on the couch and focusing on the television. Kanina niya pa ako hindi pinapansin, we even ate silently. I can also see how he always clinched his jaw while glaring on the television. Jacob stayed quiet while reading his lessons.
"Okay sige, Luciano stay that way. Don't talk." I took my car keys and phone. I also took my sweater, kung hindi niya ako papansinin edi hindi. Nag-away ata sila ni Kylisle on his way home. I shrugged that thought and wear my sneakers. Akmang lalabas na ako ng bahay when he talked.
"What's with you and Harrison?" he asked without even looking at me.
"What's with us? We we're just talking about your case when you barged in like a mad Dad."
"Away mag-asawa ba to?" Jacob asked like an idiot. Nang wala siyang nakuhang sagot ay kinuha niya ang kanyang mga gamit at dumiretso sa kwarto nila ni Zysk. I sighed and look at Zysk who's glaring at me.
"What?" he hissed.
"Talking about the case? You watched the case parade to ask someone about the case how ironic, Gracinni."
Anong problema don? 'Yon naman talaga ang nangyari, he was explaining almost everything to me dahil wala naman akong alam tungkol sa pinag dedebatehan nila ni Kylisle sa stage. This man is exaggerating things. Instead of arguing I just stayed quiet, he's a Lawyer and I know I won't win an argument with him.
Harrison was right when he whispered those things to me.
"Don't tell anything about what we have discussed. See how priceless his emotions when he get jealous."
I bit my lip to hide my giggles. He sure is jealous.
