The Big Regret

-"Tessa ! Wake up we're gonna be late to class!"

Hermione screamed in my ear .

"Yea , Yea just more five minutes "

I tried to go back to sleep but she took my blanket .

"Uh , Fine. "

I got up from the bed and started to get ready while she was sitting on the bed already ready just waiting for me .
When I tied my hair in a ponytail she looked at my neck, and her eyes went really big .

-"Is that a hickey ?"

"Fuck. I forgot ."

"No, I-t-ts just a bruise "

I tried to stay calm .

"Tessa, don't lie to me . I'm not stupid , I know what hickeys look like. "

"Breath Tessa. Just Breath ."

"It's not a hickey !"

"That is why you disappeared yesterday .. Didn't you ?"

"What does she mean ?"

"You were with someone right ? "

"Tessa why you always being stupid? How could you forget about this hickey ?"

"Yes. Yes Hermione I was with someone! "

"Oh my god! I knew it! Who is that ? Is he cute ?"

"Here we go again"

"Yes he is cute"

"Is he from Gryffindor? Do I know him ?"

"Oh yea, you actually do know him. It's the one you hate the most and want to spy on."

"Hermione, I really don't wanna talk about it . "

"But why ? Why don't you want to share it with me ? I'm your friend.. "

"Maybe because if I do, you're not gonna be my friend."

"Listen , I just really don't know where it's all going , when I will I promise I will tell you."

She squeezed her eyes and thought for a second .

"Deal."

As I finished to get ready we went to class.

I couldn't really concentrate on what Professor Swoopstikes was talking about ,
I was too busy watching Draco - who for some reason didn't look at me even for once the whole time.

"Why is he acting like that ?"

He's friends noticed that I'm looking at him and as i could guess told him ,
But he still didn't look to my side.

"I don't like this ."

When The class was over and I was about to approach him and ask what was going on I saw that he already left .

I took my things and Hermione and I made our way to the common room of Gryffindor .

When we came in , Harry and Ron already were sitting there talking and laughing about something .

I knew that Hermione wanted to talk with us about the "Plan" of spying on Draco .
I really didn't want to be there .

She sat on the couch and started -

"So as you remember we got a plan , And unfortunately we don't have a lot of time before the Holiday break . "

"Yea Hermione we know " Ron looked at her "Can you say something we don't know?"

"Ron! You are just-"

"So anyways , What is your plan ?" Harry interrupted her .

"Listen , I know that Draco's Father is going to talk with Draco today.
 I heard him speaking with Snape who told him to warn Draco.
Here's my question - To warn him about what ?"

"okay keep going.. " Harry looked interested .
"So we need to spy on him today all day until he will go speak with his father "

"And then what ?" Ron asked with a mouth full of little candy's.

"And then Ron , one of us is going to use Harry's cloak of invisibility to be present at their conversation. "

"It's insane You can't just-" Ron started but Harry stopped him .

-"Sounds good. "

"Now for the real question , Who is going to spy on him today ?" She looked at us .

"I can do it if-" Harry was about to say something but I realized how it's gonna help me to actually get to Draco and ask him why he is ignoring me, without it looking weird.

"Me. I will do it ."

"Tessa no. It's dangerous for yo-"

"Harry stop! I'm not a five year old girl ! I can handle it!"

They all looked at me shocked .

After a moment of silence Hermione said -

"Fine, So we decided. Tessa, You are going to spy on Draco today."

"Great. "

After we decided on today's plan , Ron and Harry left and me and Hermione stayed so we could study a little bit .
But the point is ,I just couldn't concentrate on anything else .
My mind was filled with a lot of thoughts and I was overthinking the whole situation.

"I'm going to spy on the person I have feelings for .Good job Tessa."

I knew that if Hermione and the guys would find out about what happened between me and Draco and about my feelings towards him , It would be even worse than them finding out that I'm from another reality .

But I also know that there is a rule , everything eventually comes out to the light and I honestly don't know how long I will be able to hide all of this .

Hermione is the smart one and I see that she already suspects me .
When I was sitting at my desk home writing my script for the shift , I never thought that this is how it's gonna go .

Everything is fucked up more than I could even imagine.
My plan was just come here, enjoy and have some good time with everyone and then leave .

And now I'm here , About to spy on Draco because Luna got attacked in the woods by a fucking werewolf and Snape holding her somewhere , Harry as i understand got feeling for me and Draco is a part of all that as they think.

"Tessa you are a professional shifter"

After I couldn't sit there anymore with my thoughts I decided to start my "little mission" .

I packed my things and told Hermione that I'm going for it .

-"Be careful Tessa , You don't know what to expect."

"I will thank you , I will see you later . "

I left the common room of Gryffindor and started to make my way Towards the Slytherin common room .
When I was on my way I saw Charlotte who was about to leave the common room so I decided to ask her if maybe she knows where Draco is .

-"Hey ! Charlotte ! "

She turned to me with her bitch face .

"Oh , Look who we have here - The little Mudblood ."

She overlooked me with her blue eyes .
I really wanted to punch her in the face that second , But I was reminded of what I came for.

I ignored what she just said and just asked her -

"Listen Charlotte , Maybe you know where Draco is ? "

"Why Do you ask ?"

"If I ask , It means I need him right ?"

"Just punch her Tessa. "

"Why would a Dirty Bloodline girl like you need someone like Draco ?"

"No But like for real , just hit her ."

"Can you just tell me where he is ?"

"Not before you tell me why you need him "
"I need to give him something."

"What is it ?"

"Not your business. "

She got mad and pointed her finger at me -

"Listen to me you little stupid Mudblood , He would never need anything from you !
Beside he's now busy probably Drawing or something in his room which you are not allowed to come in to ,
So I suggest you take yourself back to the Gryffindor side of the building !"

"She is stupid . Thank you for the information "

"Yea I guess you right "

I tried to look convinced , and the second she left I made my way to his room .

When I came in , The room was empty .

"Draco ?" I whisper quietly .

When I didn't get an answer and was already about to leave I heard a voice behind me and turned around , It was Draco.

-"What are you doing here ? you're not allowed to come here ."

"What a nice way to say hello, I'm happy to see you too."

"D-Draco I .. Why are you ignoring me all day today ? "

"Listen , What happened yesterday was a mistake, a big one and-"

"MISTAKE ? WHAT ? Woah hold the horses !"

My heart stopped beating for a second. I felt so confused .

"WHAT ? What do you mean by "Mistake" ?"

"Tessa, You have to understand . You should stay away from me . "

"Not funny Draco. "

"No! Why would I ? What do you mean by mistake ? What happened ? "

"It was just for fun . We both were drunk and it was just a moment thing you know."

His voice was dry and cold , his face wasn't expressing any kind of emotion and my anxiety started to come up at this moment and tears started to come up .

"What does he mean by saying " moment thing " ? What even got into him ? What the fuck?"

"A moment thing ?"

He didn't answer.

He just stood there for a minute while heavy silence filled this room , his eyes went from looking at me to stare at the window behind me .

I was sure it was a joke and any moment he will come here , Closer to me , Hug me and tell me it was all just a joke .

I really had this little piece of hope inside me .

I didn't move my eyes from his face, I tried to catch some emotion , just something.

But the next second I lost it . I lost it when he said it .

"You really thought I fell for you , Didn't you ? "

I suddenly couldn't hear anything around me , Suddenly my legs got so weak .
I felt like I'm going to faint.

All I could hear in my head was him repeating this over and over again .

I felt like my heart was breaking , Like every little piece of me is falling apart.

"Draco don't say it "

I couldn't believe this. It's not the same Draco I was with at the Yule ball night .
He was different , He was unbuttered , He was just..

"Himself?"

"I already did Tessa. "

"I don't believe you ! Something must have happened , that made you change your mind "

"He couldn't just change his mind like that , I saw his eyes that night ! I know he has feelings for me ! I know it !"

-"You probably just don't get it you little stupid Mudblood !
I never even had something to do with you , It was all just for fun. I was drunk, we made a mistake just forget about it!"

My tears started to run harder , I felt like I cant breath .

"Of course , as always - All you know to do is to cry . I feel sorry for you- "

"Fuck this Tessa, Stand your ground! "

"No!
No Draco ! I feel sorry for you ! You know why ?
Because all you know is just how to be rude, all you know is how to hurt people !
 All you FUCKING know is how to destroy people!
 and you do it because you hurt yourself!
because you are afraid ! "


He just stood there , as if my words didn't even bother him at all .

-"CAN YOU AT LEAST ANSWER ?" I got really mad.

"I already said what I had to "

"And that's all ?"

"Yes . "

At that moment the only feeling I felt was hate.

Hate for him. Hate for the fact it's all even happened.

I hated him for doing this to me , And more of anything I hated myself for letting him do it.

-"I HATE YOU DRACO! I HATE YOU SO MUCH! "

I looked him in his green eyes and asked -

"IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT ? YOU WANT ME TO DISAPPEAR FROM YOUR LIFE ? "

That was the first time I saw a face expression.
He looked scared for a second .
But then it changed and became numb again .

"Yes."

I don't remember anything from that point.

I just know that I left his room and couldn't breath. I don't remember how I got into the girls bathroom but I did somehow.

I sat on the cold floor covering my face with my hands and started to cry so hard as I never did before .

I felt broken .

I screamed and cried at the same time and I felt my anxiety coming up .

I felt my chest squeezing and starting to hurt really bad .

"How could he ?"

"Come with me , please Tessa I promise you you won't regret this night "

"I regret it so much , Just so much . "

He broke me.
He lied to me.
He betrayed me.

"Liar!"

I screamed so loud, with all of the pain I had inside me .

Suddenly I heard a really sweet voice of a girl -

"Hey ! That is my bathroom to cry in!"

"Oh my god it's the moaning Myrtle.."
