The Truth Pov.Draco

When I got home I first wanted to go down to the basement, So I started to go down the stairs but my dad met me on the way there and he didn't look happy.

-" Draco." His voice was cold and unbothered.

-" father." I knew he would ask me why I was here.

-" Why are you here?"

-" I was looking for you and i-"

-" You know you can't come down here, someone might even think you are the one who helped this little mudblood to escape " He squeezed his eyes as if he suspected me already.

-" Yes father I know, but I told you I just was looking for you-"

-" Go back, I will come soon."

I was mad, irritated, and lost.
I just have to get to them, I want them to help me bring Tessa back.
My dad suspects me, and I think he will follow now every step of mine.
I came into my room and sat on my bed, again reading the note.
Suddenly Dobby appeared in front of me.

-" Dobby knows about everything and Dobby wants to help but in one condition ."

-" You can't tell me what to do, you have to listen to me !" I got mad.

-" Draco wants to see Tessa again?"

-" Dobby speak!"

-" Draco needs to promise Dobby to free Potter and his friends ."

-" Are you stupid? It's impossible! The lord will kill me! And even if it was possible I would never do it."

-" Dobby could help."

-" I said no!"

And just like that, he disappeared.

Why does this stupid creature think I will set them free and risk my life?
I will get what I want without setting them free and without anybody's help.
I don't need anyone.
I can do it alone.

My father came into the room without knocking.

-" Draco, What did you want?"

-" I just.. just wanted to ask when I will get back to school ?"

He gave me a little smile and looked at my hands.

-" What is it?"

I looked and saw I was still holding the note.

-" It's nothing, just decided to clean here a little bit." I said while throwing it into the little trashcan I had in the corner of my room.

-" So how about school?" I asked him again.

-" How can you go back to a place that will not exist ?" He said and smirked at me.

My body started to get the chills.
Of course, they will destroy it.
I will not have a place to come back to.

I tried to look like I don't really care so I gave him a little smile.

-" Of course father, I forgot. "

He was about to leave when he stopped and turned to me.

-" Draco, one more thing ."

-" Yes?"

-" Me and your mother are going to speak with the lord, and I ask you not to go to the basement. "

-" Yes father."

-" I hope you have a little bit of brain there Draco, Don't you dare to disappoint me ."

-" Yes father ."

As he left I sat on the bed and started to think about how can I reach them, if I can't even go there.

"Dobby!" I whispered but nothing happened.

-" Dobby, I need you right now!" Still, nothing happened.

-" Dobby fine! I give you a promise, just come!" And here he is.

-" Is Draco listening to Dobby?"

-" Speak Dobby before I change my mind."

-" Dobby can take Draco to the guys, but Draco has to promise that he will help them to get out of there later. "

-" Fine! Fine ! "

He took my hand and after what seemed like a second we were in the basement.

-" Dobby!" I heard Potter screaming, But I didn't care, I looked over the room to find Hermione.
And there she was sitting with Ron.
I came closer to them and I could tell they weren't happy to see me.

-" You! I need your help." I looked at Hermione who seemed to be mad.

-" Excuse me? First of all, why would I help you? second of all, no."

-" Don't you want your friend back ?" I tried to manipulate, that's the thing I know how to do the best.

-" If she ran away, and she is safe, I don't see a reason to get her back here. So my answer is no. "

-" Who told you she ran away? Are you stupid ?" I kept this game going.

-" They wouldn't kill her alone, they would take all of us - especially Harry. "

I was confused.
She is smarter than I thought.

-" Okay listen, I took her from here and-"

-" You did what ?" She screamed and her eyes went big just like Ron's.

-" I helped her to escape and I kept her safe in my secret place but-"

-" I can't believe it! The whole time I was right about you two! Oh my god!"

She stood and started to walk around while she repeated it again and again.

-" Wait what? What are you talking about? " Ron asked her.

-" So you two have been together behind everybody's back and that is why she always defended you! That is why she disappeared the night of the ball, That is why she rejected Harry! That is why! Don't you get it? "
 She looked at Ron and Harry who were just shocked.

-" Tell me that I'm wrong ". She looked at me.

-" You not."

The silence in the room was so heavy that I could hear the little mouse in the corner.

"So the one and only clean blood Malfoy was with a mudblood huh ?" She stared right into my eyes.

-" Yes, and now she is in trouble and I need your help."

-" Why would I help you? and why would I help someone who lied to her friends ?"

-" But she did this to protect you! "

-" No, she did this because she knew that the second we will find out we will make her stop all of this ."

-" That is what you would do? make her hate me and stop being with me ?"

-" What do you think of Malfoy? Are you serious? Look at you and your family! Your parents locked us in your basement!
They want to bring us to Voldemort!
They want to kill Harry!

With her words, I suddenly understood how crazy this whole thing was sound.

-" Don't you care about her?" I ignored everything she just said.

-" We do. Where is she and what happened ?" I suddenly heard Potter.

-" Of course you care, you love her ." I said with sarcasm.

-" Where is she ?" He asked me and I noticed he gets angry.

I came closer to him and whispered in his ear,

-" She will never love you as she did me, I still remember her screaming my name when she was under me scratching my back and asking for more.-"

The next thing I know is Potter pushing me to the wall and starting to choke me.

I was catching air as much as I could, I thought he's gonna kill me there.

-" If you kill me...you will never find her, Come on Pottah don't be more stupid than you are"

He got off me and I fixed my shirt.

-" Tell us what is the deal Malfoy" Ron looked at me.

-" Well, after I took her to the cabin, I left her there so no one will find her...
I promised her I would come back soon and after 3 days I did come back but.. "

-" But what? Speak Malfoy!" Harry was mad.

-" Shut up Pottah ! "

-" Keep going " Hermione looked at me.

-" But when I got back I found her laying in my bed and at first I thought she's sleeping so I tried to wake her up, but she didn't wake up no matter what I did.
I already thought about the worst so I checked her breathing.
She was breathing.
And then... Then I found this. "
I gave Hermione the note, she opened it and started to read it out loud.

After a while, when she was done she looked at me and I saw the confusion in her eyes.

-" What does she mean "Other reality?"' "

-" That is the thing, I thought you will tell me ."

-" Wait.." For a second she closed her eyes.

-" What is it ?" Ron looked at her scared.

-" Oh my gosh! No, No way! " She started to clip with her eyes fast and kept on -" But how is it possible?"

-" What is it Mudblood? Speak!" I couldn't hold it anymore.

-'There was that morning where she woke up and started to act really weird, she was saying "Yes it worked ", and in-class she didn't remember the spell that you - she pointed on me, that you did. "

-" Wait, are you trying to tell me she told the truth in this note?" I was literally just so confused and full of fear.

-" But if it's true that means..-" Ron started but Potter interrupted him.

-" That means she went back to her reality ." He said with some confusion and sadness.

Suddenly we heard the lock opening and steps coming our way.
