CHAPTER SIXTEEN

~ROSE'S POV~

It's so early in the morning and I can already hear my family laughing so loud making me groan, so I stood up and went downstairs.

''Mom, can you tone it down?'' I said without opening my eyes and was about to go back to my room.

''Oh, Good morning chi-chi.'' I heard someone say, I instantly opened my eyes when I heard the word 'chi-chi'.

''Y/n, what are you doing here?'' I asked her.

''Oh, I'm just here to visit your parents not you don't worry. You can go back to your bed.'' She answered making me frown.

''Just kidding chi-chi, c'mere join us for breakfast.'' She said then tapped the seat beside her signalling that she wants me to sit there and I did.

''Y/n cooked the breakfast even though we told her not to.'' Alice said while chuckling.

I looked at the table to see so many foods making my mouth water at the sight,

''You cooked all of these?'' I asked Y/n and she nodded her head while smiling.

''So Y/n, how's your visit to the Manoban's household?'' My dad asked making me look at him remembering my conversation with the girls last night about Y/n then I looked at her, I still can't believe that they're childhood best friend too though.

''They still wouldn't let me cook, I arrived there and the foods are already cooked.'' Y/n said while chuckling before looking at me.

''For your information chi-chi, as far as I can recall I'm good at socializing so don't look at me like I can't have Lisa as my other childhood friend.'' Y/n said, I laughed at her before eating.

''Are you busy today Y/n?'' My mom asked her and she shook her head.

''You know that I don't mix business with pleasure.'' Y/n answered making us laugh.

''Should we go visit our secret place tonight, chi-chi?'' She asked me.

''Sure, let's go there.'' I answered and she smiled before eating again.

''Every year that I visit here, I would always go there before then I would leave flowers there for you.'' She confessed, I looked at her shocked.

''It was you?!'' I asked her and she chuckled.

''Yes, I want you to know that I'm always here for you.'' She answered truthfully.

''I knew it was you, at first. I thought I was being delusional, but when it happened again, I just knew it. But I'm scared to confirm it to you because I might be wrong.'' I told her.

''I admire your friendship. I can still remember when the 8 years old Chae-young wanted to marry 7 years old Y/n and she just laughed at her.'' Alice said and they all laughed except for me.

~FLASHBACK~

''Y/n, marry me.'' I told the young girl beside me, I heard her laugh making me look at her and frown.

''I would love to marry you chi-chi, but we're too young for that. You can ask me that again after 15 years.'' She said then smiled at me.

~END OF FLASHBACK~

''I was startled at first when she asked me that so I just laughed because I don't know what to do at that time.'' Y/n said then smiled at Alice.

''You were so young back then but you're so mature, you even know a lot about business at that age.'' My dad said and she nodded.

''I can still remember dad always asking my opinion about the company and it was so amazing how it will always turn out as a success so I wouldn't have to feel guilty about it later on.'' She said chuckling.
