One could say that U.A school for heroes was a normal school. But one could also say that people going to help to pick up the soul of their dead partner is normal when it is not.

So, when someone says U.A schools for heroes is a normal school, you can ignore them as they clearly have escaped from the nearby mental asylum and should be taken back for treatment soon.

The year 2174. Mt. Lady has just made her debut in Japan, applications for the next educational year have opened and due to All Might, crime is at its lowest it has been in decades.

A perfectly peaceful time- as long as a villain doesn't land on your house that is.

Jogging down the road, the three fifteen-year-olds trained for the new school year.

At the front, Akiko Ueda ran with enthusiasm lost on the other two. She had dirty blond hair that went halfway down her back and a pair of glasses on her nose.

Next to her, running only enough to keep up, Uzu Kamishiro grumbled over the unnecessary of this exercise. He had short brown hair that had recently been cut and piercings around his ears. His tail swayed in the air, just as unhappy as Uzu.

Lastly, trailing at the back, Nakashima Hatsuharu, did his best to put the least amount of effort in while not dropping off. His deep brown hair bobbed up and down with each stride and the long scar that went along the tips of his mouth was kept in place by two stitches on both sides.

Uzu flicked his tail sharply, attempting to hit Naka so he would keep up but jumping away when Naka stopped and blew up.

"Naka!" Akiko looked around in annoyance, not happy that Naka had skipped training yet again.

Naka had the powerful ability to send out exploding clones of himself, of course, he mainly used it so he could get out of most inconvenient situations by sending a double to attend instead of himself but usually Akiko and Uzu worked it out within half an hour. How was he getting better?!

"Does this mean we can stop?" Uzu asked, already preparing to flee.

"Fine, but you better train your Quirk later," Akiko grumbled reluctantly but Uzu was already gone. "Why do I bother?"

Uzu swiftly made his way back to his house. To avoid talking to his family, Uzu formed wings on his back and flew in through his window that he left open exactly for this reason. Once in, he turned on his favourite game and prepared to block out the world for the next few hours.

Uzu had the unique ability to grow and change his limbs, arms, legs, wings or tail, Uzu could fold all of them to his will. Sadly that did not mean he had the body he wanted, but he will next week. After his top surgery.

On the other side of town, still in bed, watching anime and eating food, Naka shot up. His clone had exploded. Akiko will not be happy.

Turning off the computer and pretending that he was working on his final project, he mentally prepared for when his door would be thrown open.

He did not have to wait long.

Using the vines growing out the tips of her fingers, Akiko burst into Naka's room. "How dare you skip training?!"

Akiko had the powerful ability to grow vines from her fingertips. On each of her fingers is a different ‘berry’ that has a different effect when absorbed into the material. Her thumbs can reduce gravity, her index fingers can heat or cool down materials while her middle fingers could slow down or speed up the passage of time. Her ring fingers could ‘summon things’ for a short period while her pinky fingers could temporarily stop someone’s thought process.

"What? I was busy," Naka whined, showing the finished drawing of his hero costume.

"We both know you finished that drawing three days ago. Uzu kept asking you to draw his."

Naka swore under his breath before giving a hopeful look towards Akiko. "If I draw yours will you let me off the hook?"

Despite the situation, Akiko shook her head and smiled at her friend. Soon they would all become heroes.

U.A was a weird school. The students that went to it were weirder. And next week, the newest editions will try out.
