I'm no psychologist, but I've heard from many sources and it sounds pretty true from past experiences, that when you are laughing in a group, you will look towards the person you want to be closest to. For example, when I laugh with my family, I usually look at my dad because he works all day, so those are the precious times I get to see him.
Now, as this pertains to Superman. We do this. So much. In chapter 20: Smiles, this happened like three times. And now, it's happening even more, at Bible study and even at church now. Each time the look seems to get longer and longer (though that part may just be in my head).
Pessimistically, I'm making this all up and the 'psychological fact' is actually a psychological fail. Optimistically, it is true and he at least wants to be my friend. Realistically, I have no clue.
