(Disclaimer: Pokemon belongs to Nintendo and Game Freak. I do not own Pokemon.)

I was stuck in the hospital for two days while Nurse Joy made sure I was healthy. Blade stayed by my side the entire time, along with Eve.

Eve seemed to trust Blade more now, she had barely even looked at him before.

Nurse Joy cleared me with a promise, that if I hurt myself again, she'll find me and have Chansey lock me in a hospital room.

Danny was waiting for me by the doors leading out into, what looked like, Oldale Town. A young child was playing with an Azurill outside and the trees swayed in the slight breeze.

We stepped out into the light and I put my hand over my eyes. The light was annoying enough to blind me for a few seconds.

Danny and I immediatly departed for Route 102, determined to get farther than twins this time.

We did happen to come across the twins, who ran away as quickly as their little feet could. We decided to avoid as many people as we could so we wouldn't be set back by fainted Pokemon.

An hour or so later, Petalburg City was in sight. The wind was blowing lightly and children were playing tag. Norman stood outside his gym talking to a trainer.

We walked up to the gym as the trainer ran off.

"Ah! Ella, Danny, welcome."

"Hi, Norman!" We said in unison.

"Are you here to challenge the gym? Why don't you come in?"

Even though we weren't going to challenge the gym, we still followed.

"No. We're just passing through." I explained.

"Ah, we-"

"Um..... E-excuse me?"

"Hm."

We turned to find a boy, around my age, with peridot hair and bluish clothes.

"I... I'd like to get a Pokemon, please."

"You're Wally, aren't you?"

"Y-yes... I'm supposed to go stay with my realtives in Verdanturf Town for a while. But I thought I'd be lonely by myself, so I wanted to bring a Pokemon with me."

Danny was attentively watching Norman's reaction to this boy, Wally,'s plead.

"But I've never caught a Pokemon by myself...."

Norman nodded.

"Well then. Heard that Ella?"

"Yup."

"Here," Norman handed his Zigzagoon to Wally. "Take one of my Pokemon. Also, take these Pokeballs to catch a Pokemon down on Route 102."

Wally vigorously nodded his head. "Yes, sir."

"Ella, Danny, go with him, please."

We shrugged and followed Wally out to Route 102.

"Hey, Ella?"

Danny's voice called me out of my daze. "Yeah."

"Can I catch a Pokemon, too?"

"Sure. Why'd you ask?"

"Cos."

I shrugged and sat down on a rock. Wally looked nervous, I would too.

"Hey, Wally." I called.

He turned and said, "Y-yes?"

"Don't be so nervous. Loosen up a little bit."

He nodded and walked into the grass, tall grass to be exact.

"P-please stay the to watch and see if I can catch one properly."

"Okay."

Danny, whom had already gone into the grass, squealed as she was attacked by an unannounced Ralts.

Coincidentally, a Ralts also attacked Wally.

'Aren't those supposed to be rare though?' I thought.

Wally had Zigzagoon use Tackle twice before throwing a Pokeball. Danny had to use Tackle thrice.

Coincidentally, again, they both caught their Ralts.

"Hey, I gotta Waltz!" Danny called.

Wally bursted into hilarious laughter, in turn making me laugh.

"D-don't you mean Ralts."

"Yeah, that's what I said."

I face-palmed and looked at her. "Danny."

"Yes?"

"Ralts and Waltz are not the same thing."

"Oh."

Wally giggled and we started back to Petalburg. We walked into the cool air of the gym and sighed.

"Thank you, Mr. Norman. Here's your Pokemon back."

"No problem, Wally." He patted Wally's back.

Wally then turned to Danny and I. "Thank you. Both of you."

"We smiled at him, even though we literally did nothing, and he departed.

"I still can't believe Ralts and Waltz aren't the same thing."
