You and Jim were sharing a heated kiss when his communicator went off.
"McCoy to Kirk."
"Hey, Bones. What's up?"
"You still need that medical exam."
Jim sighed. "I'm fine Bones."
"The hell you are."
"Bones I'm a little busy right now. I'll come later."
"I want you here within the hour."
Jim sighed. "Ok. Within the hour." Jim hung up and tossed the communicator across the room and returned his attention to you. The sly smile on his face returning.
"Medical exam again?"
"Yeah. I'll go later, I believe we were in the middle of something."
"You really need to go." The smile faded.
"I'm fine. I promise. Now can we get back to what we were doing before?"
"No. Not until you go in for that medical exam."
"Correct me if I'm wrong, but you have an overdue medical exam as well."
"I'll go when you go, then we can finish where we left off."
"I'm not going."
"Then neither am I and we won't finish this."
Jim sighed and thought for a minute.
"We'll go together."
You smiled. "Let's go before Bones comes up here and drags us down to the MedBay."
Jim nodded in agreement.
You walked down to MedBay hand in hand.
