"Well need to introduce ourselves properly, how about we meet later?"

I tell my pride to stay on guard while I shift back.

"Fine, but if you prove to be a threat we won't think twice about rejecting every one of you!" My pride growl in agreement all but Hasani, he's been looking for his mate for 2 years I really hope this pack doesn't give us a reason to reject them.

The pack moves away and we head back to our territory, I need to make sure that Imani and Nakia are alright.

I shift and lead my pride back home, when we arrive I realise that I left my sisters and the twins at school!

Nadia and Nyla have said that they'll look after everyone until we get back, I only have 2 hours left of school.

I race back and shift just before the tree line, I see Kula and Diku pacing anxiously at the front doors but when they see me the calm down almost immediately.

"Your okay!" They race towards me and engulf me in a hug, I reassure them as we head in inside.

I see Athene and Sara chatting in Xhosa, I can hear them clearly but they haven't realised him here yet.

I walk up to them and tap both of the simultaneously, they jump and hug me also.

"Is everyone alright?" I nod and explain in Xhosa what happened and that we need to meet the pack tomorrow, the girls were anxious about it but I reassured them that it would be alright.

We head off to class and for the next 2 hours I do nothing but worry about Nakia and Imani, I've never seen them scared or worried before, it makes me nervous that a clan of vampires had that effect on them.

When it's time to head home we quickly run off to the woods and shift back, my pride worry when we're separated.

When we're running I catch the scent of a herd of deer nearby, I'll organise a hunt tomorrow so our mates know not to interact with us while we're feeding.

When we arrive home I see my pride waiting for me, happy smiles upon their faces.

"It's all been sorted, Imani and Nakia are alright they were just a little shaken up that's all, hey Kula" I chuckle as Tau rubs his neck nervously, oh yea they are definitely mates.

They both head off to talk while Athene, Diku and I head on inside.

Luckily tomorrow is Saturday so we don't exactly need to get up early I mean we have to meet the pack but I'm not getting up at the crack of dawn to meet them.

After eating 2 portions of lasagna and and a burger each we are officially full, we all head up to our rooms, Kula and Tau arrived shortly before dinner both grinning like Cheshire cats.

I wake up early the next morning after hearing a call from a bird I think?

I've never heard a bird sound like this before, it sounds like a wail or a cry.

I make my way outside and follow the sound I shift and using my ears I'm able to pinpoint where the sound is coming from.

I follow it until I reach the border of our territory.

"I was hoping that the sound would drawn one of you in" I turn to my left and see the guy from yesterday the black wolf the alpha.

I growl a little, what does he want.

"It's alright, I just didn't want to wander around your territory until one of your pride members found me, I just wanted to let you know that you'll also need to meet the coven that also lives here, they feed on the blood of animals we have a treaty with them, I just wanted to give you a little warning so you don't attack them when you see them" I growl but I don't retaliate, I'm glad that he's decided to tell me this. It gives me more reason to trust them.
