Upon arriving home I feel like a great weight has been lifted off my shoulders, we no longer have to hide who we are.

I'm glad the town accepts us but I don't know about Aro, the town didn't seem very welcoming towards him when he told everyone about his kind.

He knows that if he ever needs assistance he can ask us for help.

I see Sam here with the biggest smile on his face and I see a little bundle of joy in his arms, I'm glad nothing went wrong.

"Akina, I wanted you to meet my son Dorian" I look down and see the most beautiful smile a child could give, he's only a few hours old but he's absolutely gorgeous.

"Congratulations Sam, hows Emily?"

"She's doing well, she's currently sleeping so I better get back" I nod and he makes his way back to the Rez with Jake.

I shift into my lion and Okoye and Kopa meet me outside, for only being 6 months old they are really developed.

"Hey mom, can I ask you something?" I turn and see Damon, is something bothering him?

"Yea son of course, everything okay?" He gives me a nudge before looking at me.

"I've already asked Dalia and M'baku since they are the next in line for the pride, but when they take over if it's okay with dad can I take over the pack? Cause I'm the first child of you and Jake" that's a good idea, how had I not thought of that?

"I think that would be great, you'll be a great leader Damon but you need to ask you father about it, it's a yes from me but since your father is the alpha of the pack you need to discuss it with him"  he nudges me before nudging his sibling and running off towards the Rez.

A few hours go by and the pride and I are just relaxing either as our lions or humans, now that everyone knows about us we don't have to hide all the time.

We hear a call of a male lion but I'm instantly up when I realise it's not one of ours.

M'baku and Dalia have darted off with Dotty towards the call, it was a friendly call but still.

Endesha and Athene move all the youngsters inside while the remaining adults protect the house.

A few minutes later I hear another call, it's Dotty but it's not a call for help it's a call of welcoming?

"Everyone stay here, I'll be back" I get nods from everyone before I sprint in the direction of Dotty's calls.

I arrive to the southern edge of our territory and I see Dalia and M'baku in our territory while Dotty is speaking with the male outside.

"Everything Okay?" Dotty turns around and runs towards me happily, she nudges me before practically dragging me towards the male.

"Hello, my name is Askari, I was a wanderer around here, I heard your broadcast over the radio, is it true we no longer have to hide from humans?" I nod.

"Mom, he's my mate, I got a second chance!"
If I was human I'd have tears welling up, the gods have blessed her with another chance like me.

"Do you accept my daughter Dotty as your mate"

"With everything I have, I'll never leave her" I smile and nudge up against him so he has the scent of the pride.

"Welcome to the pride Askari." we start to make our way but before we reach home the pack have intervened, they growl until I stand in front of Askari and growl back.
