3 years have passed since Mfausi came back to us, 3 years since we got the news of new members soon joining our pride:

Seth and Imani had one daughter Heshima

Embry and Diku had one son Zuma

Jared and Nadia had a little girl Ingaza

Quil and Nakia had 2 sons Kivuli and Haramu

And Hasani and Leah had 2 daughters Zehra and Naanda along with one son Kahari.

The pride is filled with cubs all around, the cubs are around the same age only about a month different between them all.

Out of the newest members Hasani and Leah's cubs are the oldest at 3 years 5 months.

Dalia and M'baku have been leading the pride like champions, they haven't needed to ask for help once, they are natural born leaders.

Damon found his mate 5 months ago and things have been going well for him, his mate is a shy lioness called Shani, they are expecting their first litter together in about 3 months time.

Dotty and Askari also has cubs they have 2 daughters Dafina and Timira and 2 sons Afua and Malka, they are 2 years old and are skilled in fighting and protecting the pride.

Umba also found his mate nearly 2 years ago, we grew worried for him since all the other mature lions had found theirs but his mate is fierce and very protective, her name is Nadra, they have 5 cubs four males named Roho, meheetu, chukizo, takata and one female majivu, they are nearly 2 years old.

Even though we don't have to hide as much from humans we still have to keep our wits about us, not everyone likes the idea of a pride of 61 lions living around you.

We're all currently relaxing around our territory since we no longer have to worry about wolves or vampires, Aro and the rest of the guard have come by a few times to check in on us but they are harmless towards us and the humans, they no longer pose a threat.

I stand up when I hear the all too familiar call of a lioness in labor.

"It's time, Dalia do you want to help or have someone else help her?" I ask my daughter, since she is now queen she's in charge.

"I'll go but I'd like you to be their mother, you have a calming effect on new mothers." I'm touched that she thinks like that.

We both run for the cave and I see Damon pacing outside, he so desperately wants to go inside but he's holding strong.

"She'll be fine Damon don't worry son"

"Yea don't worry bro, everything will be okay" he just chuffed a response before continuing to pace around.

We both head inside and I see Shani breathing heavily and laying on her side.

We each move to her side and help her relax so this'll be easier for her.

"Thank you both for being here, I can't do this alone" we talk to her and encourage her to push and before we know it she's now the proud mother of 4 healthy cubs 2 boys 2 girls.

Dalia heads outside to grab Damon, he must be worried sick, this labor was longer then normal.

"Bro, come and see your cubs, all 4 of them are perfectly healthy and so is Shani" he bolts in and stops dead in his tracks when he sees them, he walks up slowly and nudges Shani affectionately before laying next to his kids.

They decided on the names: Ike for the eldest male, Neema for the eldest female then you have Vituo and Zahara.

This has been the best decision I've ever made, if we hadn't of moved here we never would've met Jasper, Char or Peter and we wouldn't of gotten our cubs or Mfausi back.
