I'm out on the hunt, just because I'm in heat doesn't mean I can't hunt for my pride.

I'm stalking a large herd inside my territory, I target the large buck and lunge for him.

I silence him quickly then begin to drag him back home, I call out to my pride and I get responses almost immediately.

I drag it as far as I can before my pride show up, my girls and Nyla's sons charge forward playing with one another before bowing before me, I nudge them playfully before they all start to eat, Athene and Sara arrive with the cubs, Hodari, Chana and Umba are big enough to eat meat now while little Tessa and Ana are still too small, Athene carry's Ana while Sara carry's Tessa.

"Jasper wanted to ask you something, is it okay if he comes here?" I hear Sara ask in our link.

"Yes, he's welcome he doesn't need to ask for permission he's your mate so he's welcome here" she nudges me and before I know it I see jasper leaning against a tree near us.

"Hello all, how are we?" I don't really want to shift back yet, the boys are still eating and if I shift back no one will be able to protect Athene and the cubs.

"I understand, I just wanted to ask if you all wanted to join my family to play baseball, Bella is driving me crazy" I laugh the best I can as my lion. form.

I look to my pride and they all nod even Athene.

"Tell him we'll join him to keep him sane, even the cubs will join us" Sara nods and shifts back to tell him.

"Great, I'll come back in a few hours to where we're playing" I nod and jasper sprints off.

Mostly the Cullens have kept their distance from us, aside from jasper but he's mated to my sister so that's to be expected, Bella has just been asking a lot about us and it's driving jasper up the wall he's been spending most of his time here whenever Bella is over at his house which is basically all the time now.

We continue to eat in piece until the buck is nearly just bones and some skin left, I go to lay down at the base of a large oak and my cubs join me, they should be close to shifting for the first time soon, when they shift into their human they'll look like their about 12-13 years old, while as a lion they look about a year old.

We all head on back home and just rest, after a meal like that I feel like I could sleep the week away.

About 2 hours later jasper arrives, Athene is joining but Tessa and Ana are staying home with Kula and Tau they don't want to play baseball or watch so they offered to babysit them until we get back.

I follow jasper while my pride follows behind me, the cubs are in the middle so they are protected from all sides.

We arrive a short time later to a large open field, I see the Cullens and I notice Bella's eyes light up when she sees our cubs.

Dalia nudges me while Dotty hisses at her not liking how curious she looks.

I nudge them away and I go to walk up to the clan.

I shift back and address them.

"Hello Cullens, Bella do us a favour and stop staring at my daughters!" She eyes widen.

"Wait your daughters, hows that work your mated to a wolf" I sigh just because you've lived a while doesn't mean you get smarter.

"These are my daughters from my first mate, Dalia and Dotty, those boys over their are M'baku and his brother Tojo and the others are my nephews Hodari, Umba and Chana we have two others but they are too small to be here so they are at home" Athene tenses up and preparation to pounce on whoever comes close.
