I wake up in my lion form sore as hell, I don't remember a lot of what happened last night and I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing.

I look around and see Jake dragging a deer towards me, I don't think he was expecting me to wake up just yet.

"Your awake, you were out cold" I must of needed it then.

"Did we give in to our heat? I can't remember anything from last night" he nods, I look down and groan, I don't want more cubs!

"I didn't want more cubs Jake, I can't go through that again" he whines as he realises what we've done.

"I'm sorry"

"Don't apologise, a heat like that wouldn't of been easy to resist but it would've made it slightly easier if I knew why you were avoiding me, then I wouldn't of tried to come close to you and made this harder for us both" he looks down in shame as I do the same.

I look around where we are are realise I don't recognise this place?

"Where are we?" Jake looks around and aims his nose behind him.

"Home is about 45 minutes that way, we traveled quite far to get away from everyone" ah that makes sense.

I stand up but lean against Jake, my back legs are sore and very tender, I've never had pain like this before.

"I hope I didn't hurt you at all"

"I think we were just a bit rough that's all I'll heal" I put a little wait on my back legs but stumble over.

Jake tells me to get on his back and when I've managed he runs off towards home, the deer forgotten about.

A while later we arrive back home, my pride is anxiously pacing around but when they see us they immediately freeze.

"Where were you! We were all worried sick!" I turn away, my heads also pounding but I don't know why.

"What happened?"

I climb off Jake and lay on the ground.

"To be honest, we're not exactly sure, the last thing I remember is my body heating up like I was going into heat again, everything after that is blank" Athene looks at me with a worried expression, why what does she know.

"That's a major heat, it happens when mated pairs are sexually frustrated but it doesn't lead to pregnancy it's more of a release it's to make sure the bond isn't broken between you and Jake" oh, lovely.

I give a sigh of relief, I'm glad that I'm not pregnant I don't want any more cubs.

Athene tells me what happened after I ran off, Bella stormed off pissed that her father congratulated us first, Edward said that she's being dramatic which I thought was hilarious.

After that everyone came back here for a relaxing night.

I go to relax with my nieces and nephew for a while to give my body a chance to heal.

I open my eyes to find little Chumvi and Zira playing with my fur, I gather them in my paws and start cleaning them since Kula is out hunting with Athene, this is the first time they've been able to hunt since they had their cubs.

I move to each cub giving them a well deserved clean them I play with them, well actually they climb on me and I be dramatic that I got defeated by the scary cubs.

Jasper and Victoria come sprinting inside looking pissed.

"What's going on?"

"Bella caused more trouble with Laurent then we thought, he raised an army to hunt and kill her and they'll be here in about a week" I growl loudly the cubs move away and play with each other, they know when play time is over for me, I stand up my legs now working normally and stronger then ever.
