Clover awakens to the grunts of a giant. She sat up and rubbed the crust from her eyes and looked at the giant. He had his club in the air and was threatening them as they passed by the field he had his mammoths in. He kept inching closer to the carriage and only Clover and the driver were awake.

"Sir I need you to take off once I distract the giant. I don't want anyone else to get hurt," Clover cautioned.

"But wouldn't you be in danger? Why not just take off with us?" He reasoned.

"No, there isn't enough time, there's too much weight for the horse to draw, and I can buy you time to get away," Clover insisted as she grabbed her bow and arrows and slung them over her shoulders, and grabbed her sword and ax.

"But ma'am-" he started.

"No!" Clover interjected. "You will take off when I take on that giant. No but. Now go!" Clover yelled as she jumped off the carriage and ran at the giant.

Clover had some dwarven oil in her pocket that she had gotten from the Whiterun alchemist. She hollered to pull the giant's attention from the speeding carriage to her, who was running at his mammoths. Clover reached the mammoths as the giant bellowed in an indiscernible tongue. She poured the oil onto the mammoth's feet and opened her other palm. In her left palm she held the now mostly empty bowl of dwarven oil and in her right palm now sat flames. Clover flicked the flames into the bowl as the giant drew closer and threw it in between both of the mammoths. As soon as it hit the rocky soil it exploded sending flaming debris into the mammoths causing their hide to catch fire where the oil had been poured. Clover retreated a few feet as the mammoths started to stomp to try to get the fire out. The giant had stopped in its tracks as soon as the mammoths caught on fire. This is my chance! Clover quickly made her way behind the dazed giant and pulled out her weapons. She slashed his Achilles' tendons, he fell to his knees and she stabbed her sword through his shoulder, down through his lungs, and pulled it back out as he slumped to the ground. Clover took any valuables from him and pulled her bow over my head to put the mammoths out of their misery. A swift and deep shot to the neck was satisfactory. Clover took her chest plate off so that she could use her tunic to put the fires out. After Clover put the fires out she scraped her tunic to hold the bloody things she gathered from the giant like his toes, sabercat eyes, and bear claws. Clover wrapped them up and slipped them into the small satchel at her side. Clover glanced around, while she was here she might as well loot the dead giant's treasures. Clover loosely fastened her armor back on so it didn't chafe. She made her way to the huge fire about 100 yards(91.44 meters) away. Clover searched around the fire and found a huge chest. She fell to her knees in front of it and pulled out her lock picks. Clover took her time on the lock for fear of breaking her picks, she didn't have many left. After a while, Clover felt a slight pop in the lock and heard a click indicating that she had unlocked it. She sighed and opened the chest to loot it of the valuables.

Clover was so absorbed in sorting through the loot and storing it away she didn't hear a giant sneak up behind her. Clover had finished putting the loot away when the giant swiped her to the side with a strong swing of his club. She bounced along the ground as she was thrown. The air was forced out of her lungs, causing her eyesight to darken and her hearing to ring. The giant picked Clover up by her arm and grunted at her to see if she was conscious. She opened her eyes and whispered, "Take this you son of a bitch."

The giant boomed laughter as Clover took a sharp inhale for breath wincing from the pain. "Fus Roh Dah!" She shouted at the giant's torso causing him to drop her and fly backward into a spike with a skeever on it. As Clover watched life disappear from the giant's eyes she mumbled. "Serves you right, you jerk. Attacking someone from behind is a cowardly move," Clover stood and straightened her posture buckling over from the pain that shot through her side.
