Wolfgang watched Isobel as she stood to the side. Klaus sat behind an easel, paintbrush in hand as he added delicate strokes to his latest masterpiece. Wolfgang glanced over at the Mikaelson, regarding Klaus as he worked. Klaus' eyebrows were narrowed with concentration, his blue eyes focused on the canvas as he moved his wrist carefully.

"This better be a good one, Nik, because you've been working on it for years." Wolfgang muttered and the Original laughed, looking up at his friend, "You can move now. I've gotten all I need from you."

"Isobel, slit your wrist and drain your blood into the glass for me," Wolfgang ordered. The vampire nodded, her compelled obedience kicking in. Wolfgang turned back to a smirking Klaus as the Mikaelson watched Isobel hand Wolfgang the glass of her blood, "You're enjoying this, aren't you?"

"What's the point in playing both sides if I can't have a bit of fun as well?" Wolfgang replied, taking a sip of the vampire's blood. Klaus nodded, continuing to paint as Wolfgang checked a message on his phone, "Anything important?"

"Just Charlie checking up on me." The Nachtstern replied, a slight smile gracing his lips at the thought of his sister. Klaus nodded, frowning, "Speaking of siblings, where are we with our Elijah problem?"

"Your brother is not an issue. He doesn't suspect a thing about my true allegiance, that I can guarantee." Wolfgang said and Klaus shook his head as the hunter sipped the blood, his hazel eyes meeting the Mikaelson's, "Can you? He can shield himself from your little parlour tricks and I don't want to take any risks. I need Elijah taken care of before the ritual."

"I'm not going to stab Elijah in the back when he's not a viable threat." Wolfgang countered, his voice raising slightly. One of the people behind Klaus, a witch, thought about attacking Wolfgang and the hunter shook his head at her, "Don't try it, love. I'll kill the both of you before you can blink."

"It sounds like you have a disposition towards my brother, mate." Klaus hissed and Wolfgang shook his head, his hazel eyes sincere as they met Klaus' blue ones. He knew what Klaus was insinuating. He also knew that Klaus was needlessly paranoid. "If it comes down to you or Elijah, it's not a choice. I will always choose you, Nik."

Wolfgang let out a sigh, looking at Isobel carefully, "You will forget this conversation after it ends." The Nachtstern vampire met Klaus' gaze, his tone serious as he negotiated with the Original, "If I neutralise Elijah for you, then I require something in exchange."

"And what would that be? Another pardon for your beloved Katerina?" Klaus asked. Wolfgang held himself back from attacking the Mikaelson. Instead, he took in a breath to calm himself and then shook his head, "If I take Elijah out, I want Rebekah undaggered." Klaus seemed to consider it for a moment before he looked at the witches behind him.

"Maddox, Greta, would you leave us?" The two filed out, walking in silence out of the room as Wolfgang finished the glass of Isobel's blood. The vampire herself stood silently to the side, watching Klaus and Wolfgang, compelled only to observe. "If you think that I would allow Rebekah near you after-" Klaus started but Wolfgang interrupted him, his hazel eyes grave as he held a hand out to Klaus, remembering the last time he had done this with Klaus and how that had landed him in this mess in the first place.

"Do we have a deal, Niklaus?"

Klaus remained silent for a second, regarding Wolfgang warily as he seemed to weigh up his options before Klaus placed his hand in his, shaking it firmly, "We have a deal, Wolfgang."

Wolfgang downed the glass of whiskey with ease, focusing on how he wanted to get drunk and ignoring the burn of the alcohol. The Nachtstern gestured for another drink from the compelled bartender as he looked up, seeing Elijah and Jenna enter the Mystic Grill. Wolfgang took his drink, stood up, and walked over to the pair, not far from the table where Damon, Alaric and Andie were sitting.
