2months later...

man at first it was hard like being around alina knowing the feelings we had for each other but now it was like old times well at least it was for me after getting suspended my daddy finally found a way to get me to play so i wouldnt miss out but that didnt stop coach from working the shit out of me before and after practice so as of lately i just been working overtime everyone in town was counting on me and that alone put so much pressure on me.

"aye royal!!" tray shouted from across the court jogging towards me

"wussup man," i smiled dapping up my boy i hadnt seen to much of him since he has been dating alina crazy how she switched to me right to my homie but im not fucked up about it. as long as she is happy is all that matter.

"man so you know i been talking to ki lately and since she was to pussy to ask you i guess i have to she want to take you to the homecoming dance my brother," he smiled

"aww u mean fine as ki" i rubbed my hands together ki was fine asf she was smart pretty and half the school didnt hit her and that right there was a plus in my book

"aw hell yeah but imma ask her so dont tell her u told me yet though,"

"hell naw i been trying and she been dogging me harder than she usually dog your ass man im getting no play but im not giving up on her she needs a man like me in her life," he shrugged which really shocked me because tray and her have been together nonstop

"if you say so..." i rolled my eyes

i caught up with tray before seeing ki at her locker with her little friend or whatever so i did the smooth thing and tap her lightly gaining her attention i could see by the look on he face she was shocked and he friend was just smiling

"i just wanted to tell you that you look really pretty today," i smiled at her before walking off no i was suppose to ask her out and all but i couldnt i got to give her something to talk to her home girl about

"so knuckle head i seen u flirting with ki over there," tilly questioned

"yeah she asked me to homecoming,"

"and what the hell you tell her i hope no," tilly snapped

"and why would i tell her no tilly please explain that to me,"

"because..... ugh.... whatever" she stormed off that was weird ass hell i shrugged it off heading into the cafe because a nigga was starving

i got my food going outside to meet tray kiara alina and tilly at our normal spot i sat down...to of course the girls bickering and tray laughing

"why do you even sit by us kiara i mean u stressing me the hell out," alina snapped grabbing her plate walking off with tilly not to far behind

"man really kiara why cant you just be nice for once i mean she did help u when u got jumped or are we forgetting that,"

"this time i actually didnt do anything tell him tray your girl just tripping i guess my presence just upset her," kiara shrugged

"man i wish we can get through one lunch without one of yall storming off or yelling gotdamn we family man,"

"what that mean," tray asked

"oh you dont know," kiara eyes lightened up " i wonder why your best buddy didnt tell you" she smacked tray arm

"ohh u dont know that royal and alina have this thing between them i dont know what it is yet but trust me im going to find out if its the last thing i do,"

"yo man what!!" tray snapped getting up

"man it wasnt even like that," i tried to explain

"man its a long story that i really dont want to talk to your big mouth ass about," i snapped getting up i was sick and tired of kiara i was tired of school so i hopped up

"ik you are not talking about friend when u dont have any so you result in staying around your little brother to gain friends... hell you barley got a family... your always talking about alina family and how she dont have any when in reality you dont either...and you keep ruining everything ....you wont be happy until everyone is sad and miserable like you... but me i know how to distance myself because deep down you know that wasnt your place to tell tray anything,"

"hmm... wow.... tell me how you really feel royal," she snapped walking away from me this day was just all bad i huffed grabbing all of my things heading to my next class before ki stopped me

"okay ik you may get this alot... but i really want you to be my date to homecoming," she smiled widely with her friend on the side of her

"of course ill take you i wouldnt want to go with anyone else," i smiled she chuckled tucking her hair behind her ear

"walk me to class then.... maybe" she smiled

"of course anything for you..." i smiled grabbing her books out of her hands walking her to class i needed something to distract me for a while and ki seems genuine and sweet so why not
