Chapter 46

Dan-

I wake up to the smell of McDonald's breakfast and laughter from Felicity. I get up and put on pants. The floor has two suit cases and clothes packed in them.

I walk out and into the kitchen where I find Felicity and Phil dancing to "Nobody" by Ricky Dillion.

"Hey baby! I brought us home some McDonald's." She hands me an egg sandwich and I smile. I sit on a bar stool and Phil sits next to me. Felicity gets in the counter and crosses her legs.

"So, I have about everything packed, Phil called BBC 1 and told them what's happening, and I have my medicine I have to take while my ankle is healing."

"That's good."

"And everyone is going batshit over the vlog, so I tweeted them that everything was fine."

"Babe, you've uploaded the video, and did all of this? How much did you sleep?"

"An hour or so, but
I'm alright. We just have to finish packing and then we are off. I told Grace we are leaving so she's going to get our mail."

"Baby, you're amazing."

"I know."

I finish my egg sandwich and watch as Felicity walks into the bedroom. I follow her and close the door to the bedroom as I walk into the room.

"Dan, can you hand me that list over there," she says holding her hand out for it. I walk over and pick it up.

I put it on the suitcase and crouch next to her. I take her hands in mine and stop her from moving.

"Dan, I have to finish packing."

I pick her up of the ground and lead her to the wall. I slide down and she sits on my lap.

"Baby, are you okay?" She asks. I rub my thumb on her cheek. She leans into my hand and I smile.

"What would I do without you?" I whisper. She puts her arms around my neck and leans back a little.

"Dan, you are danisnotonfire. You can do anything. You've brought people up from the ground, and made them laugh everyday. You've been to hell and back over and over. You've literally been on fire. Baby, you can do anything, and get through anything." She leans froward a little. "I'm here because I love you."

I smile and pull her into a hug. I hear her breathe in and out and smile. she pulls away and I pull her into my lips. She smiles and kisses me back.

She gets up and moves to the suitcases. I shiver.

Sometimes, I notice, that I grow cold when she flys away from me.

Phil-

After an hour of the crazy car ride, Felicity finally passes out. Dan finishes putting a blanket over Felicity and I smile.

"What?" He asks.

"Nothing, you're just so happy. It's different, a good different mind you." He nods in agreement. it's silent in the car before he decides to speak.

"I know about you and Clair." He said. My heart drops and I tighten my grip on the wheel.

"I suppose you're going to tell me to end things? Because if so I already have, about a week ago."

"I wouldn't tell you to end it even if you were still together."

I turn to him and look back at the road. "What do you mean?"

"I would say that Clair is bad news and I would stay away from that."

"Dan, why are you telling me this?"
