Chapter 2

Felicity-

I know what people say...don't talk to strangers and don't go with them somewhere, but the way he looked at me...it was like he spoke into my head saying "It's okay. You're okay now."

So yes, I went to go get tea with him.

We sat in a booth at a diner called Dillers and laughed at a joke I'd made.

"So," Dan said, clearly changing the subject, "hipsterpotomus?" My face turned bright red and I looked down.

Holy fuck. What the hell am I wearing? Hipsterpotomus?? Oh my God I look like I just woke up 30 minutes ago. Oh wait, I did.

"Yeah, I um..."

"It's so cute." he says laughing.

"I woke up late so I don't look great." I say

"Holy shit this is you being lazy? Your hot when your lazy." He says.

I blush and laugh.

Dan-

"Holy shit this is you being lazy? Your hot when your lazy."

WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK DAN!!!! WHEN DID YOUR BALLS DROP AND GROW INTO A MANS!?!!!?

She smiles and looks down. She laughs.

"I mean, I-um... you just almost got hit by a plane, shit, car and so..." Damn it.

She laughs. "So your also socially awkward?"

"How'd you guess? Was it my fucking up and saying you got hit by a plane or the abundance of 'ums' I used?"

She laughs and shoots a smile.

"So you said you woke up late?" I ask

"Oh yeah, my landlord gave me a week to move out."

My mouth drops. "Oh my God, how awful."

"Yeah, how about you?" she asks "You were passing out something?"

"Oh right, um, my roommate Phil and I can't afford rent. We need another roommate."

"Don't mind if I do," She says.

"What if you did?" I say. Jesus what am I saying.

"What?" she says.

"I mean, we met a few hours ago and we have been siting an laughing for hours."

"You could have killed people!"

"I'm as deadly as a butterfly that shits rainbows and got stuck on a marshmallow. And Phil's the same."

She stares at me for a few moments and nods. "Why the Hell not?"
