Eventually we pulled away. There was a small moment of silence before he spoke. "The only way you can stay safe, is if you stay with me." I nodded. A sudden chill ran down my body, the cool breeze stinging my skin. "I should take you home." He grabbed my hand and began to lead me down the street. I stopped him, "is my house gonna be safe?" I asked. He sighed. "Not necessarily."
"You could sleep at my place," Johnny smiled. I nodded. We quickly turned the corner and headed down a different street.
We got there in a short amount of time, the walk silent and slightly awkward. He led me to a second room that had been untouched for a long time. I laid down and immediately fell asleep, I was exhausted.
°*Time skip to a month later brought to you by Hongjoong's cake*°
Johnny and I have been dating for an entire month now, and today would be considered our 1 month anniversary.
I haven't talked to or been in contact with any of the Ateez members. Honjoong would come up to my locker and try to talk to me but soon gave up. And while I may have felt bad for pushing him away, It's better this way. It's safer. Johnny has made it very clear that they're not who they made themselves out to be.
Johnny and I don't really show much romantic affection in public, but he has been pretty lovey dovey, especially today.

It was the last period. Y/n and I sat next to each other as we normally do. I intertwined my fingers with hers, holding her hand tightly in mine under the table. I turned to look over my shoulder and saw San, his eyes boring into me. I could tell every action I made bothered him and it satisfied me.
I turned back and smirked before letting my hand slide down her thigh. She tensed at first but soon relaxed as I gave her a light squeeze. I leaned over to her ear, "I have a surprise for you when we get home." I whispered, before nibbling her ear.
I could feel San's anger, so I left my hand on her thigh for the rest of the period.
As soon as the bell rang, I stood up, grabbing her hand and leading us out of the classroom in a hurry. "What is this surprise exactly?" She chuckled. "You'll see." I smirked.
"Can I at least get the things I need out of my locker?" I rolled my eyes playfully, "fine." We walked to her locker, hand in hand. She started to grab the things she needed when Hongjoong walked over.
"Y/n, how've you been?" I felt her tense up. She looked over at me before looking back at him. "I'm okay." She began to grab her things quicker. She was scared, exactly where I needed her to be.
"Oh really? 'Cause okay seems to be a bit of an understatement."
We both looked at Hongjoong in shock. He wasn't one to gain attitude. Yet there he stood with an annoyed look on his face. I tapped her shoulder and she quickly shut her locker. I grabbed her hand and we started to walk towards the exit.
Wooyoung came out of nowhere, "Y/n how've you been, hm?" I pulled her closer to me as we walked past him.
San leaned against the exit before walking past us toward the others as they came together in the middle of the hallway. Y/n stopped walking and turned around. She was still tied to them. I knew she still felt the bond they all once had with each other, especially with Hongjoong.
"What do you want from me?" I sighed. Hongjoongs gaze switched from her to me. He stared at me for a while, he was disgusted, angry. San rested his hand on Hongjoong's shoulder, Seonghwa doing the same. "Nothing," he switched his gaze back to Y/n. "I just needed to know where your head was at with all this. And now I know," he said before turning around and walking away. The members talked among themselves before turning and following. I tugged on her hand and we left.

I tried to cheer her up, she seemed absent at first but soon started to lighten up. I looked over my shoulder at the sudden feeling of someone watching us. Y/n stopped in her tracks, "What is it?" She asked. I sighed, "Nothing," I looked over and smiled at her before continuing to walk. But it wasn't nothing, it still felt like someone was watching us. I shook it off even though the feeling was taunting. We got to my place and I picked her up, carrying her into our room so I could show her my little "surprise." We've been taking it 'slow' for a bit of time now, but thankfully she was just as ready as I was.
