Dumb Tears

After Koala dragged you away like that, Zoro decided to keep an eye on you from a far. He was really worried for you, but after seeing you sit down in the arms of your ex boyfriend, he decided he had seen enough. Maybe you just weren't into him, and you'd never be. End of story. Your brothers might have been wrong.

Going to the bar to grab another drink, Hiyori spotted him and started talking to him. Truth is, she clearly had intentions of having a one night stand with the man, but Zoro was in love with you and, even if you didn't like him back, he'd stay faithful to his feelings until he found a way to make them go away.

"Come on Zoro, maybe we should take this upstairs~" She pressed her body against Zoro, tight enough that he'd have to use too much strength on her for pushing her away. Zoro laughed nervously.

"I think you've got the wrong idea Hiyori, I better go back to the couches." Zoro tried moving her away by pushing her from her hips, but she simply didn't budge.

Leave me alone woman!

Just as Hiyori wrapped her arms around Zoro's neck, you had come into the kitchen with Koala. You stared wide eyed at the couple, feeling your heart shattering as a wave of sadness and disappointment took over you. From there, you felt like everything began going in slow motion, Hiyori pressing Zoro against a wall, him holding her tight at her hips, and them kissing together. Broken, you took a couple steps back, bumping against your blonde brother who had come looking for his girlfriend. He saw your saddened expression and followed your eyes, his own widening as he saw Zoro being kissed by the blue haired woman. Seeing that she probably forced herself upon him, and because he knew Zoro was into you, he tried to grab you as you backed away from the scene, heart in pieces and a lump in your throat.

"(Y/N)!" Said Kola, surprised and trying to get you to focus back into earth.

Zoro heard your name and, without thinking twice, pushed Hiyori out of his way, cleaning his mouth with his sleeve.

"I-I think I'll just go lay down." You said to Koala, dashing off to your room as you tried to keep your tears inside your eyes.

Fucking idiot stupid dumbass woman. I'm a fucking idiot stupid dumbass woman. Ah, fuck it.

You let your tears fall freely, the heart break and the tiredness from drinking so much taking a toll on you. As you made your way back upstairs, Zoro stood dumbfounded about what had just happened and Sabo stared at him angrily.

"What the hell was that?!" Asked Sabo, glancing at Hiyori from the corner of his eyes as the woman left the kitchen, smiling to herself.

Fucking bitch. Thought Koala.

"I-I I didn't-" Zoro couldn't get the words out of his mouth. What the hell had just happened? He wanted to be with you tonight, he wanted to tell you he liked you a lot, and ended up upsetting you twice in the span of a couple of hours.

"She kissed him! That bitch just threw herself on top of him!" Ranted Koala at his boyfriend, mad that her best friend had been hurt twice during the day.

"Go talk to her!" Said Sabo, gesturing in the direction you had gone.

"No! Why would you want him to go after her? Hasn't he done enough?!" Koala was very mad at Zoro right now, and she still didn't know Zoro had fallen for you just like you had fell for him.

"It's fine Koala, they'll work it out." Sabo said as he saw Zoro leave in a rush, going after you.

"What do you mean?" Even after he had left, Koala glared at Zoro and in the direction he had left. She'd make sure to murder him if he did something to you that would make you feel bad.

"He likes (Y/N)"

"My Turtle?"

"Mhm." He mumbled, kissing his girlfriend's forehead softly.

"Zoro likes Turtle?" Koala was dumbfounded, she thought Zoro was an asshole and that he was just playing with you.

"Yeah." Sabo chuckled at his girlfriend, grabbing her hand and dragging her back into the party.

"Since when?"

"Since always probably."

"What?!" Sabo chuckled at his girlfriend, explaining to her what Zoro told him during the day.

Zoro's heart was beating in frenzy as he crept up the stairs, wanting to be with you and make you feel good again, but before he entered your room, he slipped into the bathroom and washed his mouth, taking all the Hiyori out of his lips.

Knocking the door, he waited for you to answer. Nothing.

"I'm coming in!" Warned Zoro, not wanting to barge into your privacy more than he already was. Seeing that you weren't going to answer, he opened the door and peeked in, noticing your small figure curled up to a greenish pillow.

Wait...

Taking a better look, he noticed it was the turtle he had given you years ago. Smiling, happy that not only did you still keep his gift but treasured it while you slept.

"(Y/N)..."

"Go away." You mumbled sleepily. You were so drunk you couldn't even see who the fuck it was that had come into your room. "I wanna sleep."

"You can sleep." Said the mysterious man.

"Then leave!" You huffed.

"I'm not leaving." He said firmly. Peeking up, you noticed a buff man that stood strong in front of you, but, either because of the darkness of the room or because, with how drunk you were, you could barely make out the shape of your plushie, you couldn't identify the man.

"Who are you?" You asked innocently, big dove eyes peeking at him from your pillows. Zoro chuckled softly and laid down beside you in bed. He really wanted to cuddle.

"I'm Zoro." He said, smiling at you in amusement and crawling under the sheets. He knew it wasn't right, but he couldn't help himself. His entire body itched to have you curled up to him, and he was a little drunk too, so he just gave into his dumb invasive ideas. As you felt the Zoro-like-smelling warmth set down inside your covers, you instinctively wrapped your arms around it and buried your face on his chest, him wrapping his arms around you as well as he felt his heart beating faster and faster each passing second.

"Liar." You mumbled against his skin, soft breath tickling him and sending a shiver down his spine.

"Liar?"

"He'a downstairs getting his tongue sucked by that old hag."

Old hag? Oh. Zoro laughed at your choice of words. Calling Hiyori old wasn't really accurate, but she was about six years older than you so maybe it made a little sense.

"No Turtle I'm right here." You blushed at the name he chose to call you with. It was a name you had gotten because of him and he sometimes teased you with it as well.

"You do smell a whole lot like him, though." You kept on mumbling. Drunkness and sleepiness did not mix well, they worked on you like and honesty potion, and boy were you going to regret it tomorrow. If you even remember this, that is.
