You made your way to his car and noticed that he, in fact, had brought a little basket with food and a blanket.

Adorable.

As he saw you staring at the basket he blushed. In attempts of playing it cool, he turned his gaze away and buckled up, turning on the car. On the other hand, your heart was melting seeing how much effort he had put on the date, even though you had been a bitch to him in the morning.

"Zoro."

"Yeah?"

"I'm sorry for being so rude to you in the morning, I-"

"It's ok, Turtle." He laughed. "I guess I understand why you'd get the wrong idea, I was an idiot when I told your brothers I didn't like you. I lied because I didn't want to get teased, specially by your brothers."

"Zoro, I really like you. A lot." You mumbled the last part. This was really embarrassing, but you wanted everything to be clear, and you still didn't understand why he had made out with Hiyori.

"I like you too, yesterday I wanted to tell you, but then stuff go in the way, like freaking Hiyori when she jumped on me!"

"So you weren't making out?"

"Gosh no, I only had one woman in mind." He smiled cheekily at you.

"Sly~" You answered, nudging his shoulders at his attempt at flirting. He chuckled with you and leaned in again to kiss your lips, softly and slowly. You still got surprised every time he captured your lips, it made your heart melt and stomach flutter.

"Let's go." He said pulling away and driving to your destination.

"Where are we going?"

"Just a special spot I know."

"Come on~" You whined, making him laugh at you. He looked very handsome. He had sunglasses on, and the soft light of the sun hitting his skin made him look gorgeous. You hoped you could get in a relationship with him soon.

"It's near the lake." He said, not wanting to give away the details.

"Hmm alright then. I'll be patient!" You smiled at him, beaming. He took a glance at you, wondering how he had managed to finally take you out on a date. He loved you so much, though he was still too shy to tell you, and seeing you here, with him, beaming happily and laughing with him, warmed his heart and enveloped him in a feeling of admiration for you.

Finally, you arrived to the outskirts of town, in which there was a forest and a couple of small lakes. It was still an undiscovered spot so there were no parks nor houses nearby, leaving the natural sight all for your selfs. You looked around in awe, carrying the blanket while Zoro took the basket with food and engaged in a light chatter with you. The place was beautiful, and it was even better that it was just the two of you.

"This is amazing Zoro!"

"W-well my sister helped me a little." He remembered how when he arrived back home in his angry state, Perona scolded him for leaving you alone while you felt bad and demanded him to make things up with you already. She had made him see that you were completely worth it and that he had to fix what he had fucked up.

"Perona?"

"Mhm. She actually scolded me for leaving you alone like that. I felt really bad too." He said sheepishly, placing the basket down and taking the blanket from your hands.

"I miss her." You pouted. "It's been a long while since I've seen her."

Zoro sweat dropped at your statement, knowing fully well that you had seen her yesterday at the party.
