Jealous

As the day went by, you were back in bed cuddled up to Zoro and watching a movie. He wasn't paying attention though, the thought of Law was still bugging him and he needed to know what it was that Law wanted with you.

"What did Law want?" He asked grumpily. He tried not to sound too obviously grumpy, but he did anyways. It was hard to control.

"I don't know I'll just wait for him to text me." You yawned.

"Oh so you guys text?" He asked frowning.

"Yeah he's my best friend."

"He's your ex."

"Oh." You smiled to yourself and looked up at him. "Are you jealous?"

"No. Just annoyed by him." He huffed. You snickered at him. Honestly, you loved it so much when he was in his grumpy mood, it was adorable.

"The moment he texts I'll let you know ok?" You said gently, hugging him and humming, relaxed in his presence.

"Alright." He muttered as he breathed out. He knew he shouldn't be such a grump with you, there was literally nothing wrong about keeping in touch with an old friend. Still, he didn't want the future doctor to swoop in and steal his girlfriend. He had waited long enough. A couple of minutes later your phone buzzed with messages notifications. Zoro tried to seem disinterested and closed his eye, feeling you wiggle around as you tried to reach your phone.

"It's Law." You mumbled, pressing your head back into your boyfriend's chest.

"What did he want?"

"Nothing he was just checking in." That was a lie. He said he wanted to come over to your place tomorrow and take you out to talk about something serious, but he also asked for you to respect his privacy so, until you knew what it was that he wanted, you wouldn't tell Zoro. Maybe it was too personal and it wasn't your business to go around telling people.

"Alright." Mumbled Zoro, a little concerned but trusting you anyways. You had just gotten together and he didn't want to be a suspicious boyfriend. He hated being jealous.

You snuggled closer into him, taking in his scent and kissing his neck.

"Will you be here tomorrow?"

"I have to go to work. Don't you have classes?"

"Naah we have a free week."

"Lucky." He said massaging your scalp.

"Hey (Y/N)?"

"Mhm?"

"I have a match in a couple of days."

"Yeah?"

"I'd like you to come." Seeing you weren't answering, he continued. "I-if you want to of course."

"Yes! I love going to your matches and watching you beat everyone's ass!" You said lifting your head and looking up at him straight at his eye, eyes glistening in excitement. He saw you so happy for him and felt his heart flutter, amazed at your willingness to go support him.

"I could just squish you and take you everywhere with me." He mumbled to himself, pressing your body flush against him and taking the air out of your lungs.

"Hey! I'm not some dumb teddy bear." You pouted at him, palms pressed against his strong chest.

"Nooo." He said mockingly. "You're my dumb teddy bear." He pressed you back against him making you blush.

It wasn't many moments that you could get Zoro to open up to you and baby talk you like this, but you still loved every single second that you two passed alone.
