Day Out

"It's not fair!" Pouted Koala at the cafe menu.

"What is?" You asked with a sigh, expecting a dumb ass answer from your dumb ass friend.

"They don't have that delicious hot chocolate they had the last time!" She whined, making you roll your eyes as you patted her shoulder sarcastically.

"You'll get over it." Robin and Nami giggled at you two, putting down their menus and joining you. After your lunch activities with Zoro, you had simply chilled at home and watched movies. Now, the next day, you were with your friends on a coffee date catching up with each other while your boyfriend was working at the dojo.

"(Y/N) did you receive that job offer?" Asked Robin, smiling gently.

"Oh, right! I still haven't thought much about it." Robin was older than the three of you, and she was already working stably at a firm. Since you were one of the best students in your class, many companies had offered you jobs which you hadn't planned on taking yet, but the one where Robin worked at had made a really good offer, and you were definitely considering it.

"I think you should take it!" Said Nami excitedly, probably thinking about cash. "You would be making extra money for a job that will give you experience for future better jobs!"

"Yeah! Besides, you'll need that money once you move in with your boyfriend~" Teased Koala, remembering the conversation you two had had yesterday and making you blush.

"Already?" Asked Robin, excited for you yet surprised.

"No! Koala is just being a tease. We haven't really talked about it yet."

"Well, if you think of it, it's the perfect time! You'll finish university in a couple of months, and if you take this job you'll definitely have enough to pay for rent." Nami was right, it was coming at a good time.

Then again Zoro hasn't even asked me yet...

"Let's not get my hopes up ok?" You pouted. "We've been together for barely a couple of days."

"Yeah, but you've been in love for years."

"You really think it would be appropriate?" You asked hopefully. Of course you wanted to move in with him. You'd never have to keep your voice down while having sex, you'd cook for him and have a lot of some much needed privacy.

"Oh yes! Definitely!" Answered your three friends.

"If Zoro agrees, of course." Added Robin. "But we all know he wants this as much as you."

"Why don't you ask him?" Asked Koala.

"Doesn't it come out as a little desperate if I'm the one to ask him?" You asked thoughtfully. Besides, you'd get extremely anxious and scared of rejection.

"Maybe a little bit, I guess." Said Nami, rest her head on her hand thoughtfully.

"It doesn't matter! He'll love you even more!" Koala was trying to convince you, but you had already decided to wait for him. He'd ask you when he was ready.

"I'll just wait for him to ask." You said firmly, chuckling as Koala's excited face turned into a frown.

"What has been up with you anyways? I heard your boss got you a big promotion~" You teased Robin making her blush very lightly. She had a huge crush on her boss, Franky, and you were sure he liked her back. Only time would tell.

"Yeah, things have been going great." She answered looking down at the table, trying to hide her blush.

You kept on chatting about anything that came to your minds, catching up with them and having a great time. A couple of hours later it was already 14:00 and Nami and Robin had left to go back to work. Koala was waiting for Sabo to arrive to take her shopping, so in the meantime you decided to keep her company.
