We gathered in the great hall to listen to Dumbledore's announcement.
"Hogwarts will host the Triwizard Tournament!" Everyone started to whisper and look at each other.
"Malfoy, you should totally do it! You are strong enough!" Crabbe said. I rolled my eyes with Milly.
Dumbledore continued to explain and introduced the other schools to join us. Everyone was cheering. The guys were checking out the girls from Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. Girls were melting over the Durmstrang Institute. I just sat there thinking of other places I'd rather be.
"Thank God you're not smiling. It doesn't suit you well." A whisper said jokingly in my ear that sent instant chills down my spine. I turned slowly and saw Draco. I couldn't help but bite my lip and sigh. He looked at my lips and smirked.
"I would like to introduce Mister Bartimus Crouch to explain the ministry's new rules." Dumbledore said stretching out his hand to signal Crouch he can speak now.
"He works with my father." Draco said.
"After much deliberation, the ministry has concluded that for their own safety no student under the age of seventeen shall be allowed to put forth their name." Everyone started to boo and shout at Crouch. I looked over at Draco to see a disappointing look on his face. He started to shout with the crowd. I then looked over at Sage and she made a phew gesture. I chuckled as Dumbledore shouted at the crowd.
"SILENCE!" He continued to talk about the goblet of fire and how to enter your name. We were all dismissed. Everyone got up and left for the night. I walked with Milly and Pansy to our common room to chill for the night. We sat on the couch and started talking about everything Dumbledore said. Draco and his minions walked in.
"That is rubbish. Underage. Pfft. My father will hear about this!"
"And do what Malfoy?" I said rolling my eyes.
"What did you just say?" He said with narrow eyes staring into mine.
"What is he going to do? He works in the ministry. You expect him to only allow you because you're his precious son?" I said in a mocking voice. Milly and Pansy began to giggle. Draco shoots them an evil glare.
"Everyone. Out. I need to teach Miss. Silverling a thing or two." He demanded harshly. Everyone rushed out in fear. The common room was empty and I kept my eyes on him.
"So. You think you can talk to me like that huh? Veronica Silverling, thinking she's so special because her father was Slytherin's best seeker and potion's master. You think you can hold that special title huh?"
Well and the fact that McGonagall is my grandmother I think to myself. Draco began to walk towards me. My breathing started to pick up.
"Oh. So now you shut that pretty mouth of yours up." He said as he is standing right in front of me. The smell of cologne began to fill my nose. He tucks a piece of my silver hair behind my ear and put his pointer finger under my chin. He slowly lifts my chin up and stares into my green eyes. "You don't ever speak to me like that. You understand?" He said in a quiet raspy voice as he glides his thumb over my bottom lip. I look into his grey eyes. They were hungry.
"Do you understand me?" He said again with anger.
"Yes."
"Yes, what?"
"Yes, Draco." He let out a low growl.
"U-uhh Malfoy?" Crabbe said from the top of the stairs by the boys dormitory.
