Chapter 20- Epilogue

My alarm goes off and I roll over to turn it off. It's too early.

"Happy first day of school darling," Draco said kissing me on the cheek.

"Ugh, I'm not ready for this!" I said and he places a cup of tea on my nightstand, smiles, and walks away. I get up and got myself ready. The trunks were packed in the car and I take one final breath. Everything is about to change again. As we were driving, Draco looked over and saw my anxious face.
"Everything will be perfectly fine, my love. I promise." I look into his beautiful grey eyes and smiled. He kisses my hand and continues to drive to the train station. We finally reached platform 9 3/4 and I took a deep inhale. I watched as everyone scattered around saying goodbye. Just then, Harry comes up and stands next to me.
"She looks just like her."
"I know. Although it makes me sad sometimes, I can't help but smile when I look at her." Harry puts his arm around me and gives me a side hug.
"How have you been? I haven't heard much from you since-"
"The wedding. I know. I'm sorry it's just hard you know? Thank god Ginny is so patient." Ginny walks over with their children, James, Albus, and Lily.
"My! She's gotten big!" Draco says squatting down next to Lily.
"Hi, uncle Draky" Lily says shyly.
I suddenly begin looking around in a panic.
"Aurora? Aurora? Aurora Sage Malfoy where you are?"
"Here mummy." A small voice said behind me. A beautiful dirty blonde haired girl with bright blue eyes like Sage's turns up holding her kitten, Stardust.
"I'm sorry. Stardust got excited and well she tried to run away. I had to get her!"
"That's alright dear." I kiss her head. Draco places a hand on my back to calm me down.
"Hi, Albus! Hi James!" Aurora says excitedly. Watching the three of them standing around talking makes my heart happy. I would love more than anything they were blood-related to me, but I am happy we kept in touch all these years.
"Mummy, where's Uncle Ron and Aunt Hermione?" Aurora asks looking around.
"They must be late...oh! Here they are!" Hermione looks flustered rushing their daughter, Rose to where we are standing.
"Hi, Aurora!" Rose says with glee hugging her.
"Hi, guys!" Hermione says hugging all of us.
Ever since Sage's death, we've all agreed to keep in touch. She would have wanted it and it helps a lot with coping. We've made an effort to spend time together and take family vacations to Draco's family cabin in the mountains. It's been hard trying to navigate through life without my best friend, but I couldn't have asked for a better life. I'm married to the love of my life and made the best of friends. Our children will have a chance to grow together and experience new Hogwarts together.
The train whistle blows and tears started to form. My baby is going to Hogwarts!
"Oh! Aurora, don't forget to kiss your brother goodbye. He'll probably be walking and talking when you come home!"
"Goodbye, Hunter!" she kisses his little head in my arms and walks onto the train with Rose.
"Bye-bye sweetheart. We will miss you." Draco says waving.
"Stay out of trouble!" I said smiling. The train starts to pull away and I looked at Draco.
"Are you tearing up!?" I said jokingly. He looked at me and rolled his eyes.
"That's my baby girl! She's growing up!"
"Yeah, and pretty soon she'll be falling in love with a prick!" Harry jokingly. We all began to laugh and walked away.
