We took our seats in our dark arts class and I pass Draco a note the same way he did for me. He looked up and smiled at me.
"Who can tell me three unforgivable curses?" Professor Moody asks the class. Everyone began looking around the room. He began calling on students to tell him one and pulled out a weird spider looking crab. He used his wand to make the inset grow in size.
"Imperio" Moody said and had the insect fly around the room. He flew the inset right onto Draco's face who started to freak out. He brought the insect back to him and asked for another curse. No one answered.
"Aah, Mr. Longbottom. Tell me the next one."
"Um, cruciatus curse, sir." I saw Draco started to tense up out of the corner of my eye. I stared straight and kept my cool.
Draco's POV
I received a note and I instantly knew it was from Veronica.
Astronomy tower. After Class. Be there or else!

I smiled and put the note away. Professor Moody came in asking students about the unforgiveable curse.
"Um, cruciatus curse, sir." I knew what was about to happen and I started to get nervous. I looked at Veronica and saw her looking ahead staying calm. She slowly took a deep breath.
"Right. There is someone in this room who has witnessed a family event with this curse. Maybe she can tell us about it? Miss. Silverling? No?" I started to feel angry. I hated how he called her out like this. I looked at Veronica who had both hands in fists with white knuckles on her lap. I wish I was sitting next to her right now.
"Well then, crucio" Moody said and the insect starting making this terrible noise. It was trying to escape Moody's hands, but was in too much pain. I saw a tear fall down Veronica's face and I knew this was enough.
"Stop it. Damn it, STOP!" I screamed. Moody looked right at me. His smile dropped as he saw my face. Moody stopped the curse and Veronica shot straight up from her chair. She walked right out of the classroom swiping the books off of the table in the back of the room. I stood up and looked Moody right in the eyes and walked out to catch up with Veronica.
