Kurt's POV:

Whoever invented AP American history seriously deserves the electric chair. This class has been busting my ass since I got here. McKinley would give you fifteen points just for writing your name on a test.

The sound of a pine cone hitting my window brought me out of my textbook. It's not like I was reading it anyways but the muffled arguing outside was problematic.

"Are we sure this is his dorm, cause if it's not we're screwed."

"He told me he boarded in the west wing. And I'm assuming the giant W on the sign is probably an indicator."

Only an idiot would try to break in from the outside. They could just go to the front office and ask for a visitor pass. Unless, no they aren't idiots.

They're the girls.

"Why couldn't we just send the boys, then we wouldn't have to pick locks with a bobby pin. Or pretend that we're selling Girl Scout cookies."

"I think we were pretty convincing."

"To answer your question, the boys, as much as I love them, are morons. They'd get caught spiking the water fountains in less then twenty minutes, no doubt."

I looked out my third story window to see Rachel, Mercedes, Quinn, Tina, Santana, and Brittany squabbling. "Oh look, Rapunzel decided to leave her tower", the sassy Latina quipped in return.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" I whisper yelled at them. Girls were strictly banned from Dalton, especially on campus at night. Of course they came after curfew. Who was I kidding.

"We're selling Girl Scout cookies!" The ditzy blonde cheerleader jumped. Santana shook her head, placing a hand on her shoulder. "So close Britt."

"No, we came to talk to you boo." Mercedes started. "You haven't been responding to any of our calls or texts. We've been worried and since the boys refuse to do anything, we wanted to take some action."

"That's really sweet of you guys but you can't be here. If you get caught the school will call your parents for breaking and entering." Rachel stiffened at the mention of something going on her squeaky clean permanent record.

"So you're ok? These preppies haven't been giving you any trouble I'm hoping." Quinn remarked. "You never actually said much when we congratulated you for getting into the Warblers."

I shut the textbook, knowing it wasn't going to be used anytime soon. "I'm fine and the guys treat me great. The work loads just been heavier and I'm catching up with everyone else. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about my favorite gals."

"Good. But the choir room doesn't feel the same without you, Kurt." The others nodded at Tina's statement. "The guys have been fuming at the football team after what they did to you. They're blaming themselves cause they think there's more they could have done to protect you."

It meant a lot that the New Directions hadn't left me behind when I transferred. "There's nothing they could have said or done that would have made a difference. I miss you all like crazy but I know I'm safer here. As far as I'm concerned, a little change can do some good."

My phone buzzed when a text from Blaine came up. He had been practicing with Thad at the Dalton fight club.

B: "Hey Kurt, I kinda sorta left my keys in the dorm. Can you unlock the door if you're not asleep yet? Thanks, I'll be back in 15."

K: "Sure, no problem."

"Sorry to burst your bubbles ladies but Blaine's coming back soon and he doesn't want to hear me screaming at a bunch of girls out the window. Who don't go here. Or live nearby. And lied to get in."

Santana cocked her hips, eager to take the opportunity to humiliate me. "Yeah c'mon we don't want to watch Porcelain getting some action with his private school boy toy."

"Who's Blaine? I didn't think other dolphins went to this school." None of them batted an eye at Brittany's normal insanity.

"He's just my roommate and friend, no benefits involved Santana. So head out of here. I'll text you when you get back."

They took a hint and finally began making the climb up the fence. I winced as they all simultaneously got poked by the barbs. They were still loud enough for me to hear a "son of a bitc"- from a certain cheerio.

Five minutes later Blaine opened the door I unlocked for him. He was wearing a loose muscle tee, curls all over the place and sweat dripping down his face. It was far too attractive to be legal. "And how eventful was Mr. Hummel's evening?" He questioned, turning on the shower.

"Unexpected, that's for sure." I mumbled, pretending to read that dang book again.

Hey guys. I can't believe that I'll be updating this like five minutes after midnight. I wanted to update when it was actually Wednesday but schools been kicking my ass too. I'm not gonna break my schedule so there will be a Sunday update, maybe two, we'll see. Keep voting, commenting, and adding Warbler Infections to your libraries and reading lists. I'm aware this chapter was a little short but I wanted to add some of our favorite women (you know the ones who carried the show). Have a great morning, afternoon, or night. You are powerful!

Your fellow gleek,
- Lindsay 💕
