8 - Who's Fault

Yoongi POV

"I fucked up."

I wanted to say everything was going to be alright and that things would be okay but I knew that would be a lie. I didn't know what would happen next so all I could say was

"I know."

Jungkook broke down crying and I couldn't hold back my own tears anymore. I let them fall as I reached out and hugged him. He sobbed into my shirt and I silently cried trying to compose myself.

I heard the door open and let go of Jungkook and turned around to face whoever it was.

The doctor who I'd spoken to earlier walked in with a clipboard and a pen.

"Mr. Yoongi I'm going to need you to step out for a minute while I have a talk with Mr. Jungkook."

I looked back at Jungkook and he gave me a small nod. I nodded back and stepped out of the room.

I walked down the hall and sat in a waiting area with my eyes never leaving the door to room 603.

Then I heard whining from a familiar voice.

I turned to see Taehyung being dragged by Hoseok and Jimin trailing after.

They spotted me and came to where I was sitting.

"You mind explaining what's going on?" Hobi asked clearly confused.

"Jungkook got in a car accident."

Hobi's face went pale and Jimin's mouth hung open. Taehyung clearly didn't process a word I said and swayed around from side to side whining about not wanting to be here.

"H-how is he?" Jimin asked with a shakey voice.

"He's doing fine but he's with the doctor right now."

"Hyung leMmE gO I dOn'T wAnnA bE HerE Wit HIM!!" Taehyung practically screamed as he pulled against Hoseok who held his wrist tightly.

He was drunk.

"Taehyung your boyfriend is literally in the hospital and all you can think of is fighting with Jimin?!?" Hobi snapped.

Taehyung shook his head and seemed to finally understand what was going on.

"Kookie?"

Taehyung stepped forward and reached out towards something behind me.

I turned around and saw Jungkook being escorted down the hallway by two police officers.

I stood up and ran after them with the rest of the guys following close behind me.

One officer turned around as he heard my footsteps.

"Hey stop right there." The officer said as he held his arm out to stop me.

"What are you doing with Jungkook?!?!" I yelled.

"We-"

"It's alright! Officer can I have a minute so I can at least explain?" Jungkook asked.

"I'll give you thirty seconds." The second officer grumbled.

"Jungkook what's-"

"They're just gonna interrogate me I'll be fine," he smiled at us. But I could see in his eyes he didn't believe himself.

The rest of the guys simply sighed in relief while I held my breath in worry.

He nodded at me and I nodded back as he turned back around and was escorted into another part of the hospital.

I had a bad feeling about this.

I turned back to face the guys and saw Jimin and Hoseok walking back to the waiting room.

But Taehyung didn't.

He just stood there staring blankly in the direction where they had taken Jungkook.

I patted his shoulder and led him back to the waiting room where we could simply wait and hope for the best.

But I knew there wasn't much hope for that anymore.

A/N

It's literally been a a month since I last updated don't hate me😅

I wanna say I'll update more often but school's hard and I usually write this stuff when I'm feeling lost and need some kind of relaxation away from people.

I'll try and update in less than a month next time😂
