I've seen many life wonders but this is wonder-full!

Amirah_

"Ummi! Ummi!!" Layla clamored and scuttled towards Amirah the moment she set her feet into the house. Since it's Saturday, she decided to visit her family and spend the day with them. Since she got married, she'd not visited them. Its her seventh week of marriage already.

Amirah quickly swiped the girl up and hoisted her on air making her giggle. "How's my nour doing?" She peeked into the girls eyes and smiled, and layla rubbed her mother's face with her Palm before answering.

"Fine ummi, what did you bring for me?"

Amirah dropped her down and went into her bag in search of the chocolate she got for layla while on the way, since she knows she'll never wiggle out of layla's petulant whine if she didn't get her one. "I made sure not to forget about your chocolate nour." She handed her the chocolate as the little girl grinned widely before scampering towards her aunty khadijah's room.

Amirah went to her mother's room as the sitting room was empty only layla that she met playing alone.

"Adda Amirah!" Maryam quickly rose from their mother's bed and snuggled into Amirah chest, and Amirah patted her back fondly.

"My Mimi how are you?"

"Fine!"

"Ummu," Amirah quickly let go of maryam and went to hug her mother that was sitting on her bed smiling at her.

After the greetings, Amirah sat on the floor and looked around the room first before asking after everyone.

"Khadijah is in her room, she'll soon come out though I know she must have heard your voice." Maryam narrated. "And kabir went out as usual but sagir is in his room."

"Is that guy usually at home," Amirah said, more of a statement than a question, because she knows how walkable kabir can be.

"You know better!" Ummu said. "So how's everything, hope everything's normal?"

Amirah nodded and remained silent afterward. Is like her life's being spindling on a queer cycle about to be rolled up completely. It roiled her exceedingly every time she remembered what had happened between she and Khalid. He almost sweet-talked her into believing in him and letting him have the rope in his hand. But then, that conjugation she surmised is still dancing in her mind reminding her she needed to be careful in dealing with her life.

Though that's not how she had imagined her life to be, but what else could she do when life had turned upside down for her. Next week Amin will be a year gone already, so she's planning on organising prayers for his soul and recitation of Qur'an in the mosque. They've carried their first hospital facilities distribution successfully, so next month they'll move on to another village. The villagers were so happy and prayed for the owner of the company as she'd requested from them. They even organised a prayer for him in their local mosque in the village square.

"Amirah!!"

The clamour of her name by her mother made her snapped out of her trance immediately and present a fake smile before her mother.

"Amirah what's wrong, I've been calling you but your mind is somewhere. Are you sure you're okay, you look out of it?" All that her mother aligned before her, looking at her sceptically waiting for an answer.

"Ummu I think I'm okay,"

"Adda Amirah you're growing lean are you eating at all," maryam joined fretfully.
