21. Cupid Kinda Screwed Up.

Lol I am in love with the title name.

So, pichhle 2-3 chapter mein the whole maahol was kinda heavy.
Usse light karne ke liye, I wrote this chapter in a snippets kind of thing.

Umm, yeah, so this is to make mine and yours heart lighter. ;)

10:02 p.m.

'Let's go!
Ek kahaani hai jo sabko sunani hai'

I looked up from my book irritatingly. Ajey was sitting on his chair and was staring at the screen very intently.
As usual, his body was leaning against the table, his eyes wide and his mouth slightly open.
Typical Ajey.
I giggled at his cuteness.

His gaze landed on me as to find the source of the sound. He raised his eyebrows at my smile.

I sat up straighter on his bed and said, "You did the whole editing of the video silently. So, yeh Yalgaar ki avaaz kyu?"

He faced his screen again and replied nonchalantly, "Outro music."

I stared at him. When he looked at me again, I replied a 'hmm'.
He lowered his headphones and said, "There is always something in your mind when you reply with a 'hmm'. Spill it."

I shrugged and said, "Meh. Nothing special. I just realised that all your videos have either the best outros or the worst."

He cocked his head and smiled.
"The best being Yalgaar?", he wiggled his eyebrows.

"Umm, to be honest, no. I mean, it's a good song, obviously. But you had included better. For example, the best one was 'Do Your Dance' . "

" 'Mann ki andheri raahon mein'. Woh wala, na?", he asked.

I nodded my head vigorously.

"Woh toh puraana ho gaya, na?", he said.
He looked thoughtful for a moment and then, nodded his head.

I went back to reading my book. I was really tensed. I was reading a book named, 'The Chronicles of the Assassins of Demetrius'. It was the seventh book in the series, aur agle mahine, the last book will be published.
I really didn't wanted it to end.
The mere thought of it was too overwhelming for me.

8th November, 2021.
3:21 p.m.

I was laughing so hard. CarryMinati just released a new video. The one who's outro we were talking about a couple of days ago.

Suddenly, the outro music played. I expected Yalgaar.
But it was a female voice singing:-

'Mann ki andheri raahon mein,
raahon mein,
raahon mein...'

And then a sick beat started playing.
What the fuck?
Nahi, but, what the actual fuck?

Yalgaar was like his own jaan, his baby.
Woh include nahi kiya?
I suddenly remembered the conversation we had.
He changed it.
He changed it for of me.

I swear at that time, I blushed harder than I had ever done.

6:35 p.m.

I entered Ajey's room and stood in between the room.
He was typing something on his laptop on the bed. I waited for him to notice.

Without even glancing at me, he said, "Aa gayi? Itni der tak kahan marva rahi thi? Seriously mat lena, was just kidding."
